Abstract

Photographs of Border Patrol personnel and activities, Chinese and Mexican aliens, Jeff and Mildred Milton, Yaqui soldiers, Tumacacori Mission and Arizona and New Mexico scenic views. There are individual and group photographs of Border Patrol agents including Fallis, Frank Edgell, Fred Croxen, and Carson Morrow as well as 1930s target practice, men, tents, and meals at the Patrol's Desert Camp and men and camps while apprehending smugglers in the field. Images are present of Chinese alients forced out of Mexico in 1935, and Mexican aliens held for deportation. Photographs of Jeff Milton in his later years are taken at his home in Tombstone, at the Bird Cage Theater, at his cabin in Sunnyside Canyon, Huachuca Mountains, and on a camping trip to Sonoyta, Sonora, Mexico. There are photographs of Doc Holliday's gun, found by Jeff Milton. There are images of Nogales, Clifton, Tombstone, Tucson, the Tumacacori Mission, and the Arizona State Prison in Florence. Also present are images of Yaqui soldiers surrendering to the 10th Cavalry after crossing the border during the 1929 Revolution.
