New York (N.Y.). Voter's list, 1808.
Abstract
Poll book, 1808, listing eligible residents of the Third Ward, New York City, their address, and notation as to whether they were Federalist, Democrat, or "doubtful." Notes are also included indicating those residents who are deceased, removed, alien, or African American ("black"). The Third Ward at this time included the area bounded by the Hudson River, Murray St., Nassau St., and Thames St. In addition are 3 bound lists of voters, and the day on which they voted.
