Abstract

An old "seadog" recounts his family's illustrious history which includes Commodore Byrd-Dog, Sir Francis Seadog, and Christopher Collie. The manuscript portion of the collection includes a corrected carbon typescript, a corrected typescript photocopy, correspondence, notes, clippings, reviews. Illustrative materials in the collection include two felt pen & ink studies for jacket, one pencil study for jacket, four sheets pencil studies for jacket, six felt pen & ink studies, one sheet ink & pencil studies, thirty pencil studies, one sheet pencil studies.
