Abstract

Though he enjoys life with his family and attends school, Howie, a child with cerebral palsy, wants more than anything else to be able to move his wheelchair by himself. The collection includes a brief correspondence, reviews, sixteen ink and watercolor illustrations, fourteen nk illustrations with proof text pasteup.

After winning the Prix de Rome, working free lance and as a visiting professor, Joseph Leon Lasker began illustrating Miriam Schlein books in the 1960s.
