Field for compiling data on churches in Connecticut, for researching the history of Guilford and Madison, Connecticut, for researching and writing a history of Middletown, Connecticut, and for researching and writing a history of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, including specific notes on the towns of Stockbridge and Pittsfield. Also some correspondence about the history of Franklin County, Massachusetts, and a journal of a trip to Newfoundland in 1855.
