Dorothy Stimson Bullitt was a Seattle broadcasting executive and civic leader, 1892-1989. She grew up in Seattle and in 1918 married attorney A. Scott Bullitt. After her husband's death, Dorothy Bullitt managed Stimson family real estate interests and in 1946 acquired a Seattle radio station, which she expanded into a regional radio and television network, the KING Broadcasting Company.
