The Louisiana State Dental Society was a professional organization within the American Dental Association. Most of its activity was centered in New Orleans. The Society opposed the Wagner-Murray Bill (Senate Bill Number 1161), which proposed the socialization of several branches of the medical profession, including dentistry.
