Minoru Masuda (1915-1980) was a University of Washington professor of psychiatry. Masuda was born in Seattle, served in the Japanese American 442nd Combat Unit during World War II, and earned his Ph. D. from the University of Washington in 1956. His scholarly accomplishments include studies of the relationship of stress to illness.
