The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 15, sees Damian tell Lily the truth about Dumas, and it’s a doozy. Plus, Audra tells Nate a version of the truth about her new job, and he’s not at all supportive.

What Happened On Y&R Today?

At the penthouse, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) chilled champagne and thought about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) demand to start up her affair with Kyle (Michael Mealor) again. Staring at a photo of herself and Nate (Sean Dominic), she felt torn between ambition and loyalty. She worried that Victor was setting her up again. Audra typed a message to Sally (Courtney Hope) but deleted it, convincing herself everything would be fine. After all, this could be her last shot at running a company.

At the GCAC bar, Holden (Nathan Owens) surprised Nate by showing up. Nate didn’t think Holden would still be in town, and Holden admitted he was getting used to it. He wondered why Nate was alone and praised Audra. Holden said he regretted not convincing Audra to stay in L.A.

Audra called Nate, luring him home with a surprise. Before leaving, Nate asked about Holden’s intentions with Audra. Holden said he was just being friendly, and Audra was the only thing they had in common. Nate reminded him they also shared Damian (Jermain Rivers) and suggested they focus on that instead.

After Nate left, Devon (Bryton James) showed up and called Abby (Melissa Ordway). She was boarding a flight with Dominic. Holden joked about Devon and Damian hanging around GCAC too much. Devon thought the idea of Damian dating Lily (Christel Khalil) was ridiculous, and he didn’t think his sister would be interested. Once alone, Holden remembered Audra telling him she didn’t trust him.

Back at the penthouse, Audra greeted Nate with a kiss along with the champagne and candles. She told him that she had landed a new job. In fact, Victor agreed to fund her company with her as the boss. Nate congratulated but he wasn’t thrilled to learn Victor was involved. He wouldn’t support it, which stunned Audra.

The Truth About Dumas

Meanwhile, Lily met Damian at Society. She asked him for more information about Dumas. After some flirtation and a promise of secrecy, they moved to the park for privacy. Damian told her that Dumas didn’t really exist. He suspected Dumas was likely a front. Damian admitted to lying about his credentials to impress Dumas. Dumas used him as a puppet CEO to offload two companies.

Lily thought Damian’s entire story was shady. However, Damian said he had been willing to “dance with the devil” for a better life. He created a new identity to make his father proud.

Lily appreciated his honesty and asked why he thought she cared so much. Damian said that Dumas had approached her ex and might be targeting her company. He asked if she really wanted his help, and she admitted that she did.
