Fate Alert I have had what I consider a "Fate Alert". What I mean by that is, an event or series of events, that in themselves, don't mean anything, but once linked, bring about a more important event or conclusion. Here is my circumstances. I have been dating on and off, since my last boy friend left. I had been finding all the wrong guys. The latest one, was a real disappointment. I had nearly given up on looking for someone to share my time with, when I got a message on one of those dating websites that I had signed up for some years ago. I hadn't been on that site for months, but something compelled me to get on there. I started talking to this guy, and he seemed like a really good prospect. I kept telling him he may be disappointed, because I have had that happen before. He swore up and down that we belonged together and he would never be disappointed. So I agreed to go out with him. We were supposed to go out on Friday (payday), but he called and couldn't wait... so could we hang out, he said. So, we met, and as soon as we did, I knew it was going to be a "No Go", but not to be rude, I decided to take him to eat. He didn't like what I liked so I let him pick. He picked Golden Corral, because I am unable to eat much at one time, I don't usually go there. When I was with my ex, he was a big eater, so we were regulars there. It had been at least 7 months since I had been there. There was a server there that we always used to ask for, because he was really awesome. He has been there since I can remember. This time, although not seated in his section, I wanted to say hi, but he was so busy that he was unable to come over. As I was coming back from the buffet, I caught him. He asked how everyone was, I told him my son was good, but had no idea about the ex, as he was gone. Then he reached over and removed a piece of rice that had some how got into my hair. With that simple action, I suddenly saw him in a whole new light. When I went back to the table, and was watching and listening to my "date" rant on, all I could think about was, where is Dave. Now I can't stop thinking about him. I am not sure where it will go from here, but something strange happened and I wanted to note is "somewhere" for posterity. Maybe this a love story in the making, you never know...

Soul Mates I am interested in hearing about your experiences, with the theory of soul mates. Have you ever met a person that you had an immediate, very strong feeling about (whether it was like or dislike)? Let me relay one of my stories, about a friend. I don’t know if she is a soul mate or just someone I knew in a past life (some people think, someone you associated/ or will associate with in a former or future life is a soul mate). I met a woman about 10 years ago at a meeting. I don’t remember having an immediate like or dislike for her we just became acquaintances (We traveled in the same circles). After a couple of years of just being acquaintances, we found ourselves at the same meeting. It just so happened to be a paranormal meeting I set with a mutual friend. The woman, to whom I am speaking about, is semar8. Semar8 was with child and I did a spirit guide reading on her and the unborn baby. (Which hopefully she will relay that story, here in the future.) We became friends after that, and we are now inseparable. I am an only child, but I feel like semar8 is my sister, or has been in another incarnation. We are regularly asked if we are sisters even though we look like opposites. I am 5 foot 1 and semar8 is 5 foot 9, we look nothing alike. And the funny thing is our kids look and act like brother and sister. They too have been confused as twins. Strange but true!
