On March 7, the first-years of the programme 'International Bachelor’s in Business and Economics' had an introductory lecture on the project with the programme's partners. For two months, the students will conduct a SWOT-analysis of the partners' products: study the strengths and weaknesses of businesses, find growth points and assess risks. Thanks to the project, they will be able to try themselves in different roles at the same time: a business analyst, a project manager, and a brand strategist.
The projects for students were offered by 18 companies from different industries: from experience economy to pharmaceutics, from retail to IT. They are VK, 'Gazprom', 'Sberbank', Tele2, 'Business Solutions and Technologies', 'Technologies of trust', Kept, 'Samolet', Setl City, 'Geropharm', 'Northern Capital Gateway', Alexandrinsky Theatre, Fabergé Museum, 'Bookvoed' and many others.
Each company has prepared a task for the project. For instance, the production company 'AUTOgraph Tool Solutions' offered to analyse four aspects: the company's work in general, technical support, management style and personnel issues, and also the company's business model. To immerse the students in the company's life, 'AUTOgraph Tool Solutions' will conduct a tour around the enterprise in St Petersburg and organise several interviews with the main specialists. Alexandrinsky Theatre offered students to analyse the attitude of the modern youth to the theatre in the context of the current theatre programme, online-events and the arrangement of such spaces as the New stage and the historical building.
The students will get help from the project mentors: among them are Victor Krakovich, Academic Supervisor of the programme 'International Bachelor’s in Business and Economics', Daria Savina, Lecturer at the Department of Management, Svetlana Boguslavskaya and Andrey Lazarev, Senior Lecturers, and Marina Matetskaya, Associate Professor at the Department of Management, as well as many others.

Joint projects with corporate partners are an important part of the educational process. We strive to allow our students to get professional experience starting with the first year of their studies and to immerse in the activities of the Russian leading companies. We deliberately invite companies from different spheres to cooperate. So during their studies, our students can try themselves in various spheres and consciously decide, where to start their professional careers.
