 dwarfy_arf I went to the doctor today becasue I have been having really bad chest pains (yes, I know that I am only 19 and I shouldn't be having them). Anywho, it turns out that I have arthritis in all of the cartilage in both of my chest cavities and they are really inflammed right now (yeah, it really does hurt!). Do you know of any remedies that I might be able to concauct to help with the pain? My doctor put me on Vioxx, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I am allergic to asprin and all asprin derivatives (i.e., anti-inflamatories). Any suggestions?Posted in spiritoflifeP.S. Elysia is doing great. Thanx for all the help that was put out! dwarfy_arf Elysia, my daughter, was in the hospital today. She got shocked pretty bad at work. Please send her all the healing energy you can. The EKG was normal, thank Goddess, but her potassium and other electrolytes in her body are severely depleted. She had to have two IV bags of fluids. The pupils of her eyes are severely constricted. The whites of her eyes are yellow. Her blood sugar was dangerously low. She wasn't too coherent on the phone when I talked to her. She checked out of the hospital AMA because her kids were in day care and she had no one to pick them up for her. I told her to check back into the hospital as soon as she got a babysitter, but she is as stubborn as I am, and never did go back in. She is at home now. I told her to put chamomile tea bags on her eyes and to drink Gatorade (she won't touch the pedialyte!). She was finally able to hold something on her stomach, so her blood sugar is somewhat stabilized now. I don't know what else to tell her. Any suggestions? Any Reiki healers out there that can send her some healing energy? I put a protective bubble around her and am sending her all the energy I can right now. I was ready to go to her, but she doesn't want me to come up tonight. I have to respect her judgement on this one. I don't want to add to her stress by trying to come up there when my car is running as badly as it is. At least I have insurance on it now, so I can get a visitor's pass to get on base if I need to. I will be keeping a close eye on the situation and can be there in 6 hours, if necessary. She is on Whidby Island. If she has to go back to the hospital, she will be going to the hospital on Whidby Naval Air Station. I will keep you posted. | 9:22 am - I need some help. |
dwarfy_arf I'm not asking for a spell or anything, I would just like someone to help in whatever way they see fit. Here is the situation:My grandfather had a heart attack last Thursday. I was down in Salem lobbying and when I had called back to The Dalles to get my grandmother's phone number to tell her that I was in town, I found out about the heart attack. I was quickly rushed to the hospital by my Aunt Dawn. I then proceeded to stay there for 3 days. While I was there my grandfather underwent open heart surgery and a what was supposed to be a triple bypass. The vein that runs down under and to the back of the heart was too small, and they couldn't get any blood to it.My boss wanted my home so bad that she drove the 3 1/2 hours to come and get me and take me home. (Needless to say, I didn't want to leave).Last night, my chest started hurting and I had no idea why.I just found out this morning that last night my grandfather's lungs collapsed and he went into convoltions. (Could I have been feeling the pain?) The doctors didn't know if he was going to make it through the night. I find out later what happened.Also, I have been having strange narcolepsy attacks. I have been getting about 8-10 hours of sleep each night, but then I will just fall asleep for no apparent reason and then jet awake some time later. I do this for 5-6 hours a day.
