Considering that the role of the human agent has diminished and different objects communicate with each other by themselves in a planned and intelligent manner, and considering that every object can be considered a part of the Internet of Things and play its role in communication, and considering that communication at any time and in any place and by any object is one of the characteristics of the Internet of Things, so with the expansion of the Internet of Things, these communications will increase tremendously and as a result, a huge amount of data will be created. And it is exchanged between different objects. What will happen to this amount of data and what is the purpose of this data? Is not it better to save this data? In this article, we answer the above questions and address the goals of data storage according to the needs of different smart systems.

In this, the discussion of routing plays a major role. As the number of objects located around the world increases, the amount of connections and connections between objects increases significantly. As a result of the increase in communication, the data exchanged in communication will also be high, and the collection of this raw data continuously and the interpretation of data to produce knowledge from it will be a challenge. One reason is that a software defect in the routing layer can deliver messages to the wrong destination. This causes the message to be sent to the sender by the recipient not receiving the package correctly and the sender is forced to resend the package. The result will be that in addition to reprocessing and sending duplicate data, large volumes of submissions will accumulate in the buffer queue and cause congestion. On the other hand, communication bandwidth is wasted. In addition, because incident information is reported moment by moment and due to a large number of objects (several million objects) if all this information is to be sent to the destination, bandwidth and buffer will not be used properly because the information may Duplicate submissions. Thus data routing in particular from source to sync is a fundamental component of any large-scale network. With the above explanations, we decided to research the various routing methods offered for the Internet of Things.

Wireless sensor technology plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the physical and virtual worlds, and enabling things to collect data from their environment, generating information, raising awareness about context and respond to changes in their physical environment. What makes the difference between IoT with other computing areas is their large-scale in terms of number of objects, events and mutual communication between the objects. Communication between objects consumes power and therefore after the period sensor object loses energy and stops working. So energy efficiency is a major goal of the Internet of Things and in particular the sensor nodes. In this article, we will discuss strategies for energy optimization based on genetic algorithms in sensor objects. We also evaluate different performance optimization strategy based on GAs.

The design of the system should be such that even with a number of unavailable data centers, all information is still retrievable, therefore it is necessary to store multiple copies of the information in the system so that the initial information is not lost, despite the loss of part of the data registration center. In the distribution data storage, node energy balance and reduce the cost of access to data is a major problem between sensor nodes. Sensor node clustering is a viable solution to solve this problem. In this paper, a distributed data storage method using PSO and the K-means clustering mechanism organized by the binary decision tree C4.5 in the Internet of Things environment was proposed. This concept can be as simple as a connection between a smartphone and a smart TV, or can be complex communications between the urban infrastructure and traffic monitoring systems. One of the most challenging issues in the IoT environment is how to make it scalable and energy-efficient with regard to its growing dimensions. Object clustering is a mechanism that increases scalability and provides energy efficiency by minimizing communication energy consumption. Since IoT is a large scale dynamic environment, clustering of its objects is a NP-Complete problem. This paper formulates energy-aware clustering of things as an optimization problem targeting an optimum point in which, the total consumed energy and communication cost are minimal. Then. it employs the Genetic Algorithm (GA) to solve this optimization problem by extracting the optimal number of clusters as well as the members of each cluster. In this paper, a multi objective GA for clustering that has not premature convergence problem is used. In addition, for fast GA execution multiple implementation, considerations has been measured. Moreover, the consumed energy for received and sent data, node to node and node to BS distance have been considered as effective parameters in energy consumption formulation. Numerical simulation results show the efficiency of this method in terms of the consumed energy, network lifetime, the number of dead nodes and load balancing.

In the deployment of large-scale observation systems in remote areas, when there is not a permanent connection with the Internet, the network requires distributed storage techniques for increasing the amount of data storage which decreases the probability of data loss. Unlike conventional networked data storage, distributed storage is constrained by the limited resources of the sensors. In this research, we present a distributed data storage method with the combined K-means and PSO clustering mechanism organized with the binary decision tree C4.5 in the IoT area with considering efficiency and reliability approach. This scheme can provide reliability in responding to inquiries while minimizing the use of energy and computational resources. Simulation results and evaluations show that the proposed approach, due to the distributed data storage with minimal repeat publishing according to the decision tree structure, increases the reliability and availability, reduces the communication costs, and improves the Energy consumption, saving memory consumption without registering the same event and compared to other methods performed in this area have good results.
