FAQ15 - How do I find an image URL? by Gasara on DeviantArt (original) (raw)
Information
- URL (uniform resource locator) refers to the specific location of an item on the internet. It is also referred to as a web address and is used to identify and link to specific pages and content.
- In order for your image to display you must make sure you use the URL of the image, not the page that it is on. This mistake is the most common cause of errors when using images.
- Image URLs will always end in an image file type (PNG, JPG, GIF) whereas web pages will end in a web extension (HTML, ASP, PHP).
