Drug abuse is a serious social problem in Indonesia. One of the factors that can influence the oc... more Drug abuse is a serious social problem in Indonesia. One of the factors that can influence the occurrence of drug abuse is the lack of understanding of students about the dangers of drugs. Therefore, this study explores students' understanding of drug abuse in junior high school. The research method used was quantitative, and the sample consisted of 100 junior high school students in Kerinci, which were taken using convenience sampling. The data were collected using a scale of students' understanding of drugs that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that most students had a relatively good understanding of the dangers of drugs. However, there are still some students who do not understand the dangers of drugs, especially regarding the long-term impacts and legal consequences that can be obtained due to drug abuse. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that more intensive efforts are still needed to improve students' understanding of the dangers of drugs. Schools can develop more active and creative educational programs to improve students' understanding of the dangers of drugs and invite parents and the community to get involved in efforts to prevent drug abuse among adolescents. This conclusion can be used as a reference for developing programs and policies to combat drug abuse in Indonesia, especially among junior high school students.

One of the methods used by school counselors is the show-and-tell method. So the purpose of this study is to uncover the effects of the show-and-tell method in increasing student confidence in the classroom. This research is a type of qualitative research with descriptive analysis. Then for the collection of informants, a snowball sampling technique is used with key informants of school counselors at The State Junior High School 4 Sungaipenuh City. The data is revealed using a structured interview format, and then the interview data is processed through the data reduction stage, data presentation, and conclusion drawing; so on to maintain the validity of the data is carried out by triangulation of the data. The results of this study revealed that the show-and-tell method carried out by school counselors on students can make students become confident individuals in the classroom.

The method used was ADDIE model development. The subjects of the research consisted of guidance and counseling expert and the intended target of the module (counselor), chosen through purposive sampling. The instruments used were questionnaire and focus group discussion (FGD). The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that prototype modules developed to prevent bullying at school is applicable used by the counselor and those modules can be utilized by counselor to prevent bullying at school.

Mindfulness can be an effective tool in helping counselors overcome these challenges and helping individuals strengthen their ability to cope with stress and emotional imbalances. Research methods used literature research. This research is conducted by researching and evaluating various reference materials and relevant literature to develop a coherent and logical synthesis that can be verified. The literature for this article is sourced from various platforms, including Publish or Perish, Google Scholar, open knowledge maps, and Scopus. Research results show that Mindfulness in counseling can be used to implement counseling in the era of Society 5.0.

Hence, it takes someone who is an expert (counsellor) to accompany people experiencing problems (clients) to take on the responsibility of their lives and become happy individuals. Group counselling is one of the services that counsellors can provide to help clients or group members solve their life problems because the purpose of this service is to alleviate client problems by utilizing group dynamics to establish a sense of empathy and mutual understanding and help between fellow group members. In this article, we will discuss in more detail the meaning of group counselling in overcoming human life problems, starting from discussing the meaning of group counselling, the differences between group counselling and individual counselling, the function of group counselling in overcoming life problems, the purpose of holding group counselling, principles of group counselling, and therapy that can be used in group counselling.

The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of group guidance services on peer conformity through an experimental approach with the design of the one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 10 people selected through purposive sampling technique. Data was revealed through a Likert scale model questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed that there was a significant effect on peer conformity in students after being given treatment in the form of group guidance services.

Bullying is a very troubling phenomenon in a society that occurs almost worldwide. Bullying has a... more Bullying is a very troubling phenomenon in a society that occurs almost worldwide. Bullying has also penetrated the world of education, such as universities. This study aims to look at the impact of existential therapy in building awareness of death for bullies. The research method is experimental with a pretest and posttest design approach. The subjects of this study were active students in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at college X, and samples were taken with purposive sampling techniques totaling ten people. The data were revealed using a validated and tested bullying comprehension questionnaire. Descriptive data were processed using an interval formula to see the impact of existential therapy on building awareness of death for bullies who used Wilcoxon signed-rank tests. The results showed that only 30% of bullying respondents had a good understanding of awareness of death. After being given existential therapy, as many as 70% of bullying respondents already have a good understanding of awareness of death. This shows that the awareness of the death of bullies becomes better after being given existential therapy so that respondents no longer want to commit bullying acts. The researchers are further expected to develop a group guidance model with an existential therapy approach to prevent bullying in college students.

This systematic literature review (SLR) aims to analyze anti-corruption education in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore from the aspects of policy and practice. The literature review model used is PRISMA which produces 70 articles that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis results show that anti-corruption education policies in the three countries are contained in written regulations, such as government regulations and regulations of the ministry of education. In addition, corruption eradication institutions in each country also make policies regarding corruption prevention through learning in schools and universities. This method was also used to help them determine their career path for optimal productivity, because in this era of 4.0 industrial revolution, students are required to upgrade their skills according to their talents and intelligence. This study therefore uses critical analysis studies in literature review and practical data to expose the importance of STIFIn approach to education counseling for students. The result showed that from students attending to STIFIn test which uncovers that students has a uncover and understanding their potential within their sense such thinking, intuiting, feeling and instinct, thereby, making it easier to explore and decision of their behavior and career choice. Also with this finding, it is potential to develop a counseling approach to facilitate this potential.

This study aims to improve students' understanding of preventing cyberbullying through the Inform... more This study aims to improve students' understanding of preventing cyberbullying through the Information Service of Symbolic Modeling Techniques. This research is a pre-experimental type with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The total sample was 47 students from Class VIII of Junior High School 4 Kerinci. The data is revealed using a scale of understanding cyberbullying that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data that has been collected is analyzed using the Paired sample T-test. The results showed that students' understanding of Cyberbullying behaviour before being given Symbolic Modeling Technique Information services was in low category (34%). Then after being given the Symbolic Modeling Technique Information Service, students' understanding of Cyberbullying behaviour increased by a very high category (62%). Furthermore, the results of data analysis using the Paired sample T-test showed the sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < α = 0.05, then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is a difference in the average score of understanding cyberbullying students before and after treatment in the form of Symbolic Modeling Technical Information Services. Thus, it is proven that the Information Service of Symbolic Modeling Techniques can improve students' understanding of the dangers of Cyberbullying behaviour.

Background, domestic violence is a serious thing that is being experienced by many women, especia... more Background, domestic violence is a serious thing that is being experienced by many women, especially wives, which has an impact on misery and suffering physically, psychically, sexually, and neglect by a husband. So treatment is needed to reduce the trauma of violence experienced by a wife in the household by using tazkiyatun an-nafs counseling. Case Reports, a 30-year-old woman with one child received violent treatment from her husband, both physically and psychologically, and was neglected. The results from the counseling showed that the client experienced violent acts from her husband in the form of physical harm, such as being slapped and beaten, then psychically in the form of getting harsh words and leaving inner wounds and neglect because their husbands did not support them. In conclusion, counseling with a tazkiyatun an-nafs approach impacts the client in reducing the trauma of violence experienced by the client in the household. From the counseling results, the client suggests using a spiritual approach in handling one's problems because it has proven effective.

Gadget addiction in children in the current age of information technology is a global problem exp... more Gadget addiction in children in the current age of information technology is a global problem experienced almost all over the world, so it is necessary to prevent, reduce and cure solutions for children who are already addicted to gadgets. So the Community Service activities in Desa Baru Sungai Betung Mudik, Kerinci Regency, were carried out assistance to parents in reducing the tendency of gadgets to children. The activity method is carried out in talk shows and psychological consultations for people who need psychological handlers, especially the problem of gadget addiction. This PkM activity was carried out on Friday, February 4, 2022, with activity partners, namely the village community of 30 people. The results of PkM activities show an increase in public understanding and insight into the dangers of gadgets for children if not given wisely, including for the family itself. Then the results of psychological consultations showed that there are parents who complain about their children who are difficult to escape from the device, so it is necessary to do a special follow-up. It is recommended to parents to make a schedule for children to play with gadgets and interact with children, so on for the village government to provide sports facilities for adolescents so that adolescent energy can be channelled positively.

The authors conduct this continuing study is to determine the effect of understanding perceived self-efficacy on student’s awareness in career readiness (mastery experience, vicarious experience, social persuasion, and emotional arousal). Data collected using a self-report of the Self-Efficacy Scale in Career Readiness (SESCR), semi-structured interview, and observation of student’s behavior between both participants with the high and low level of self-efficacy. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Efektivitas Dirasah Pengembangan Diri melalui Pelayanan Konseling dalam Membentuk Kecerdasan Emosi Mahasantri Ma'had Al Jami'ah IAIN Kerinci. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-experiment: the one group pretestposttest desing. Kelompok eksperimen dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 10 Mahasantri. Dirasah Pengembangan Diri yang diterapkan yaitu layanan bimbingan kelompok yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan. Data tentang kecerdasan emosi dikumpulkan melalui instrumen kecerdasan emosi dengan menggunakan Skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Wilcoxson Signed Ranks Test. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Dirasah Pengembangan Diri Melalui Pelayanan Konseling dengan memanfaatkan layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi mahasantri Ma'had Al Jami'ah IAIN Kerinci. Sedangkan secara khusus adalah (1) kecerdasan emosi mahasantri sebelum diberikan perlakuan pada tahap pretest rata-rata berada pada kategori rendah, (2) kecerdasan emosi mahasantri setelah diberikan perlakuan pada tahap posttest rata-rata berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kecerdasan emosi mahasantri setelah diberikan perlakuan dirasah pengembangan diri melalui pelayanan konseling dengan angka probabilitas Asmyp. Sig.(2tailed) sebesar 0,008 atau probabilitas di bawah alpha 0,05 (0,008 < 0,05).

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap konformitas teman sebaya melalui pendekatan eksperimen dengan rancangan the one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diungkap melalui angket model skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap konformitas teman sebaya pada siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok.

This method was also used to help them determine their career path for optimal productivity, because in this era of 4.0 industrial revolution, students are required to upgrade their skills according to their talents and intelligence. This study therefore uses critical analysis studies in literature review and practical data to expose the importance of STIFIn approach to education counseling for students. The result showed that from students attending to STIFIn test which uncovers that students has a uncover and understanding their potential within their sense such thinking, intuiting, feeling and instinct, thereby, making it easier to explore and decision of their behavior and career choice. Also with this finding, it is potential to develop a counseling approach to facilitate this potential.

This study aims to improve students' understanding of preventing cyberbullying through the Inform... more This study aims to improve students' understanding of preventing cyberbullying through the Information Service of Symbolic Modeling Techniques. This research is a pre-experimental type with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The total sample was 47 students from Class VIII of Junior High School 4 Kerinci. The data is revealed using a scale of understanding cyberbullying that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data that has been collected is analyzed using the Paired sample T-test. The results showed that students' understanding of Cyberbullying behaviour before being given Symbolic Modeling Technique Information services was in low category (34%). Then after being given the Symbolic Modeling Technique Information Service, students' understanding of Cyberbullying behaviour increased by a very high category (62%). Furthermore, the results of data analysis using the Paired sample T-test showed the sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < α = 0.05, then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is a difference in the average score of understanding cyberbullying students before and after treatment in the form of Symbolic Modeling Technical Information Services. Thus, it is proven that the Information Service of Symbolic Modeling Techniques can improve students' understanding of the dangers of Cyberbullying behaviour.

Background, domestic violence is a serious thing that is being experienced by many women, especia... more Background, domestic violence is a serious thing that is being experienced by many women, especially wives, which has an impact on misery and suffering physically, psychically, sexually, and neglect by a husband. So treatment is needed to reduce the trauma of violence experienced by a wife in the household by using tazkiyatun an-nafs counseling. Case Reports, a 30-year-old woman with one child received violent treatment from her husband, both physically and psychologically, and was neglected. The results from the counseling showed that the client experienced violent acts from her husband in the form of physical harm, such as being slapped and beaten, then psychically in the form of getting harsh words and leaving inner wounds and neglect because their husbands did not support them. In conclusion, counseling with a tazkiyatun an-nafs approach impacts the client in reducing the trauma of violence experienced by the client in the household. From the counseling results, the client suggests using a spiritual approach in handling one's problems because it has proven effective.

Gadget addiction in children in the current age of information technology is a global problem exp... more Gadget addiction in children in the current age of information technology is a global problem experienced almost all over the world, so it is necessary to prevent, reduce and cure solutions for children who are already addicted to gadgets. So the Community Service activities in Desa Baru Sungai Betung Mudik, Kerinci Regency, were carried out assistance to parents in reducing the tendency of gadgets to children. The activity method is carried out in talk shows and psychological consultations for people who need psychological handlers, especially the problem of gadget addiction. This PkM activity was carried out on Friday, February 4, 2022, with activity partners, namely the village community of 30 people. The results of PkM activities show an increase in public understanding and insight into the dangers of gadgets for children if not given wisely, including for the family itself. Then the results of psychological consultations showed that there are parents who complain about their children who are difficult to escape from the device, so it is necessary to do a special follow-up. It is recommended to parents to make a schedule for children to play with gadgets and interact with children, so on for the village government to provide sports facilities for adolescents so that adolescent energy can be channelled positively.

The authors conduct this continuing study is to determine the effect of understanding perceived self-efficacy on student’s awareness in career readiness (mastery experience, vicarious experience, social persuasion, and emotional arousal). Data collected using a self-report of the Self-Efficacy Scale in Career Readiness (SESCR), semi-structured interview, and observation of student’s behavior between both participants with the high and low level of self-efficacy. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Efektivitas Dirasah Pengembangan Diri melalui Pelayanan Konseling dalam Membentuk Kecerdasan Emosi Mahasantri Ma'had Al Jami'ah IAIN Kerinci. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-experiment: the one group pretestposttest desing. Kelompok eksperimen dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 10 Mahasantri. Dirasah Pengembangan Diri yang diterapkan yaitu layanan bimbingan kelompok yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan. Data tentang kecerdasan emosi dikumpulkan melalui instrumen kecerdasan emosi dengan menggunakan Skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Wilcoxson Signed Ranks Test. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Dirasah Pengembangan Diri Melalui Pelayanan Konseling dengan memanfaatkan layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi mahasantri Ma'had Al Jami'ah IAIN Kerinci. Sedangkan secara khusus adalah (1) kecerdasan emosi mahasantri sebelum diberikan perlakuan pada tahap pretest rata-rata berada pada kategori rendah, (2) kecerdasan emosi mahasantri setelah diberikan perlakuan pada tahap posttest rata-rata berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kecerdasan emosi mahasantri setelah diberikan perlakuan dirasah pengembangan diri melalui pelayanan konseling dengan angka probabilitas Asmyp. Sig.(2tailed) sebesar 0,008 atau probabilitas di bawah alpha 0,05 (0,008 < 0,05).

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap konformitas teman sebaya melalui pendekatan eksperimen dengan rancangan the one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diungkap melalui angket model skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap konformitas teman sebaya pada siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa layanan bimbingan kelompok.
