Help Me! | [06 Jun 2005|05:11pm] |

[ **mood** | confused ] Hi, My name is Ashley and I am going to the Warped Tour show in Dallas. I want to get some really good pictures while I'm there. I was planning on taking my SLR and the longer of my two lenses; but my friend Paddy told me that it's too dangerous to take a camera like that to the Warped Tour. I really want to use my SLR because then I don't have to get as close and I have more control of the pictures than if I was using a Rangefinder. But I don't want anything to happen to it either, I'm rather fond of the camera. Is this true? Could I possibly get away with it if I do certain things? If so, what would those things be? Please help me! Thanks.

Hi. I'm new. And I need some help.I'm going to try to shoot a Rilo Kiley show next week, and I need a some advice as to how...I've shot concerts before and there's always the same dilemma. I haven't got a lens with a super zoom or anything, so I have to stand close. I try to use a relatively fast film so as not to get exposures below 1/60. Last time I used 800 speed, and I still needed to use the in camera flash. Now with this, I got decent pictures..as in i could see everyone and there was no blur...but there was nothing interesting about them. They were all lit the same way, and there were almost no shadows. I've got a manual flash that i can attach to my camera, but I'm not sure how to use it...anyway if anyone has suggestions, they'd be greatly appreciated

A closing skyline | [02 Jun 2004|06:15pm] |

I haven't posted in here for a while because my photobucket wasn't working. All the pics are of A Closing Skyline, and awesome Charlotte band. You guys should check them out. I'm pretty sure they have a pure volume site and a hxcmp3 site. About the pics though, I couldn't find a place to stand so I ended up on the side of the stage most of the time. So there are a lot of pics of the one guy. EnjoyMy friend erik showing his support ( On Angels Wings My Tears Will FallCollapse )

[ mood** | jubilant ] so i just got back from the matches, new transit direction, and bleed the dream concert up at the warehouse. this concert was high energy (minus the bitchy girls in front of us), and the venue was so awesome inside. overall this was one of the best concerts i've been to. so the following pictures aren't the greatest (because i was on the edges of a pit and movement was constant) but i figured i'd share them anyways. enjoy!( photosCollapse )**
