This study aims to map the impact of Balige bypass road construction on land use changes and analyze its suitability with spatial planning. The research method was carried out through descriptive qualitative with a spatial approach. The data includes Sentinel images for 2017 and 2021, maps of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) and interviews with government officials. Image analysis is carried out visually, while mapping of land use changes is carried out through overlaying land use maps for 2017 and 2021 and to map the suitability of the RTRW, overlaying land use maps with the RTRW. The results of the analysis show that after the road construction there was a change in land use from rice fields to settlements covering an area of 103.27 Ha. Understanding of the threat of disasters, vulnerability, community capacity and institutional capacity, as well as the pattern of spatial characteristics of an area is important to ensure disaster management working effectively and holistically. Sayangan Village with its condition of high building-density, high population density of 11.941 population per km2 (Census, 2010), and the narrowness of local road (<1.5 m) with old buildings and walls at the sides of the road, would be a problem when there is an earthquake. An information system is needed to provide convenience in managing the land database. This study aims to develop a field-based land use information system as an essential element in the management system for planning, design, and decision making. The research method is carried out spatially to map land parcels and land use, while research and development build a plot-based land use information system. Data on land parcels were obtained through Geo-KKP and PBB parcel data, while land use data were obtained through interpretation of Pleiades imagery. The results showed that the Pleiades imagery provided convenience in presenting a complete map of land parcels as a base map/control in compiling a map of land parcels and providing detailed land use information. Sinabung has begun to show its activities from 2010 to 2020, so that it has a long impact on community activities, damage to settlements, agricultural and threats to the lives of residents around Sinabung. This study aims to determine the conditions of land use in disaster-prone areas in relation to spatial patterns and levels of disaster prone. The research method is carried out through spatial analysis by overlaying the land use map with the spatial planning map to produce a land use suitability map. The spatial pattern suitability map is overlaid with a disaster hazard map to determine the level of security in settlements. The rapid industrial development from 2011-2017 has an impact on the decrease of agricultural land area, besides that industrial development has implication on land use mismatch of Spatial Plan. This study describes the results of descriptive qualitative analysis with spatial approach from the impact of industrial development on land use change and land use suitability for industry in 2017 against Spatial Plan. The analysis shows that, first, the impact of industrial development on land use change in Semarang regency in 2011-2017 resulted in the amount of agricultural land decreased by 253,32 Ha. The biggest land use change occurred on industrial land use that is 146,10 Ha (28,84%). Sayangan Hamlet, which is situated in Kotagede Complex Area, Yogyakarta Special Region, is expose... more Sayangan Hamlet, which is situated in Kotagede Complex Area, Yogyakarta Special Region, is exposed to the physical, socioeconomic , and environmental vulnerability. A safe evacuation route to reduce the risks of earthquake impacts, however, has not supported the vulnerable condition. Therefore, the methods in this study designed an evacuation route for the hamlet by employing a staged route of evacuation model, i.e. by mobilizing victims to a temporary evacuation site first and then continued to a final evacuation site. This evacuation route model was applied in Sayangan Hamlet since the existing roads the hamlet were mostly narrow (less than 3 meters) with high and fragile walls/buildings running along the right and left sides. The result in this study: the evacuation route was organized by considering road safety, road width, and road length and accessibility to reach the evacuation site. Evacuation route map for earthquake in Kotagede expected to support disaster risk reduction.

Expansion of industrial areas, aquaculture, settlements, and limited knowledge of the community a... more Expansion of industrial areas, aquaculture, settlements, and limited knowledge of the community about the function of mangroves allegedly led to the conversion of mangrove functions in the early 1990s. This study aimed to map the condition of mangroves from 1988, 1990, 1995, 2008, to 2021 and their effect on the widespread of tidal flooding in three villages (Mangkang Kulon, Mangunharjo, Mangkang Wetan) in Tugu subdistrict, Semarang City. The research method was carried out by using spatiotemporal analysis of Landsat 5 and Landsat 8 imagery through the supervised approach (Maximum Likelihood algorithm). In order to map the correlation of mangrove damage with the widespread impact of tidal flooding, an overlay analysis of land use maps was carried out in 1988, 1990, 1995, 2008 and 2021. The study aims to analyze the economic impact of land acquisition for Yogyakarta International Ai... more The study aims to analyze the economic impact of land acquisition for Yogyakarta International Airport project on the affected community. The research is conducted quantitatively, collecting data through questionnaires and data analysis techniques through descriptive statistics. Respondents are randomly selected as many as 45 households. The variables used include occupation, income, cost of living, and asset ownership. The results show that land acquisition has an impact on job losses of 15.6% and 8.9% of odd jobs, 35.6% decrease in income, 7% decrease in asset ownership and 15.5% increase in the cost of living. The results of the study show that land acquisition has a negative impact on the decline in the economic conditions of some affected communities. In this context, the restoration of community life should be an integral part of land acquisition projects.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kondisi tata ruang terhadap ancaman bencana yang ada di Banten. Penelitian dilakukan melalui analisis spasial dengan melakukan overlay peta tata ruang dengan peta kerawanan bencana dan peta dampak kerusakan pasca bencana. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa rencana tata ruang wilayah di Banten pada beberapa lokasi belum memasukkan unsur kerawanan bencana, sehingga lokasi-lokasi yang memiliki ancaman bencana sangat tinggi masih digunakan sebagai pemukiman. Kondisi ini berdampak terhadap tingginya jumlah korban, tingginya tingkat kerusakan dan kerugian pasca bencana tsunami. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu bahan evaluasi bagi perubahan tata ruang khususnya di Banten, sehingga rencana tata ruang wilayah yang disusun menjadi perangkat kendali dalam pengurangan risiko bencana.

Untuk melaksanakan kegiatan percepataan penyelesaian penguasaan tanah dalam kawasan hutan guna mengurangi konflik, pemanfaatan citra penginderaan jauh untuk mengenali obyek khususnya pemukiman/desa yang masuk dalam kawasan hutan perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode kualitatif dengan analisis spasial. Untuk memperoleh data dilakukan survei dan wawancara terhadap pihak terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa citra penginderaan jauh dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat pekerjaan inventarisasi penguasaan tanah dalam kawasan hutan, dapat menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi terkait aspek spasial dan dapat menjadi bahan usulan awal dalam mengajukan lokasi pelaksanaan inventarisasi dan verifikasi penguasaan tanah kawasan hutan. Percepatan penyelesaian penguasaan tanah dalam kawasan hutan dengan memanfaatkan citra penginderaan jauh ini diharapkan dapat menekan tingginya konflik tenurial dan menjadi bahan dalam pengusulan tanah obyek reforma agraria. Kata kunci : citra penginderaan jauh, konflik tenurial, reforma agraria, penguasaan tanah kawasan hutan.
