WOW. Was that an awesome start to SSF or what?! You guys are incredible. Thank you so much for bringing this idea to life. There were some incredible synopses in every fandom, and we encourage all of you to check out all 12--even the fandoms you don't know!

As we wrap up Round 1, we want to let you know that Round 2 is

tentatively scheduled to take place in late Oct/early Nov. That's not set in stone yet, so please keep us on your flist in the off-season so you can stay updated with any news.

There will be two posts tomorrow before we head off to VividCon: some long overdue FAQs and a general feedback poll for Round 1. We really want to hear what y'all thought (good or bad!) so we can make things better next time. Things are already going so well, but there's always room for improvement. So! Feel free to start gathering your thoughts :-)

What we're going to do now to close Round 1 is post everything we've got for these 12 fandoms, including links to all the vids that were suggested that we didn't use. We will

not be reusing fandoms in the future, so it's important to us to give all the vids their due when their fandom is up. Which vids we select to use in SSF is not a reflection of the quality of the vids or vidders; we choose vids that are condusive to the project's needs (see upcoming FAQs for elaboration). There are some wonderful vids that we didn't use, and we want to share them with you now. We encourage you to check them out!

Also, know that we are open for vid suggestions 365 days a year, not just right before a round starts. Feel free to start sending us vid ideas for Round 2! Remember that we don't need vids for any fandoms used in Round 1.
