So yesterday was my birthday. 25, bitches. I am awesome. And OLD. Just OOOOOOLDDDDDD.

But? Get this...you ready?

It was a GOOD birthday.

Beginning with the epic destruction of the brakes on the car and getting thrown out of the house for a whole day 'cause my brother was fucking his girlfriend on my 21st birthday, every year my birthday has been mostly shit. Dreaded, hated, and miserable.

This year...I broke the curse. Because you, my friends, R0X0RZ, and I finally asked my family for the right gift. The perfect one.

I told them not to buy me a damn thing. No store bought cake, no big present...nothing.

The day started out well...Tim actually gave me a lift to work (SHOCK!!!), and online, my peepz, bitchez, ho's, and bestest buds all showed up to say happy birthday. Mad props to heartisbruised who actually startled me with it. YOU PWN.

Got a ride home from yon brother type person, and then got my birthday present: cable. Yes, cable. He took me to Home Depot, Dad called to tell me what cables and splitters I needed, and when I got home we hooked me up to cable. I don't have a box, so I only get the first 79 channels...but I CAN WATCH TV IN MY ROOM NOW. LOST. PRISON BREAK. STARGATE. CAN YOU SEE HOW PRETTY THIS IS?!?!

So that ruled a lot. So did lollobrigida's JDM bed-jumping birthday piccie. For that was much rock.

Anyway, I went to BLOCKBUSTER with Tim, too...found RED EYE for $4. I made rogueapprentice proud of me. *nodnodnod* Then I went home, got to pick dinner (takeout lasagne, MMMMM!) and I watched PRISON BREAK in my room and tortured lollobrigida with reactions.

Then the kicker...the really big one.

Dad and Tim? MADE me a cake. And it was a COOL cake. Complete with goofy candles and SPRINKLES.

Add that my early b-day present from rogueapprentice of GILMORE GIRLS S3 about a week prior?

It was the best birthday ever. EVER...at least since the one I spent in Universal City.

So to everyone that dropped me mad props, pics and prezzies, and made my day special for the first time in about four years, I want to say thank you.

THE CURSE HAS BEEN BROKEN. AND I AM FREE.

AND WATCHING PRISON BREAK IN MY ROOM TOTALLY PWNZ ALL.
