Sufjan and the State Of Oregon? Hoax Or Promotion? http://www.purevolume.com/sufjanstevensPurevolume, claims to have an exclusive from our favorite baroque pop musician. It claims it is streaming the first single off his supposed new state album "Oregon, With The Wind" called "Portland, Or Whistling Underwater". the article attached with said song explains quite a bit of this alleged up coming album. It has yet to be truly confirmed to be real. Asthmatic Kitty has not released word, and to quite a few fans and blogs say it is a down right hoax, as one might note the vocals don't even remotely sound like Mr. Stevens at all. New person to the community, old fan, same story as heard numerous other times before.And probably with a likely and commonly asked question. I will ask it out of sheer laziness because I don't want to search through years worth of community journal entries to find the answer.I play pretty much every sort of guitar available to me (and, if possible purchase said guitar), whether it is an acoustic, electric, classical, 12 string (which I do not own....yet), bass, and the ever-wonderful banjo.And the question:Does anyone know of a place where I can find the tabs for the Banjo parts in Sufjan's songs, more specifically He Woke Me Up Again?Thanks for any insight you all can offer.Chris |
