Promotional offers, also known as promotions, are credits that can be added to your account when you meet any necessary criteria. Google or its partners will occasionally offer promotions to encourage new advertisers to get started with Google Ads or motivate existing advertisers to attain new goals. Learn more About Google Ads promotional offers.

What's the policy?

Promotional offers are selectively distributed through marketing communications or the Promotions page for existing advertisers. Promotional offers aren’t available by request. Criteria for promotions varies, and you must meet all the qualifying requirements of the promotion to receive the credit to your account.

Most offers require you to meet certain criteria before the credit will show up in your account. The terms and conditions for each promotion can vary by location or by promotion. Make sure that you check the terms that came with your promotion for details about your offer.

You’ll also need to have entered billing details in your account to use your credit. Keep in mind that promotional credits can only be used towards advertising. If you cancel your account before spending the entire credit, the remaining balance can't be refunded. You can manage your promotions on the Promotions page in your Google Ads account.
