How many licenses do I need to purchase for my subscription?

After you choose your subscription, you need to determine the number of licenses to purchase.

Starter, Core, and Enterprise Plus subscriptions (per user)

If you have a Google Workspace edition that includes AppSheet Core, you and other users in your organization automatically have access to an AppSheet Core entitlement license.

For AppSheet Starter, Core, and Enterprise Plus subscriptions, determine the number of licenses required by counting the total number of unique app users across all of your deployed apps. Each licensed user can use multiple apps.

The license required to use an app depends exclusively on the app creator's license. AppSheet Core creators require users to have an AppSheet Core or AppSheet User Pass license. AppSheet Enterprise Plus creators require users to have an AppSheet Enterprise Plus or AppSheet User Pass license.

For example, if you are deploying an app to 10 employees and another app to a different set of 5 employees, purchase 15 licenses. On the other hand, if your company has 10 employees, you can purchase 10 licenses and build any number of apps for them.

Public Publisher Pro subscription (per app)

If you chose the public Publisher Pro subscription, purchase one app license for each deployed app. For example, if your account has one deployed app, purchase one app license. If your account has three deployed apps, purchase three app licenses.

How do I allow access by app users without assigning licenses to individual users?

AppSheet User Pass allows users of your AppSheet Enterprise Plus or Core apps to consume a license, as needed, if they don't have one or if their license is a lower tier than the app owner. User Pass licenses are available to the organization as a pool. Admins don't assign User Pass licenses to individual users in the Google Admin console. Allow app access with AppSheet User Pass.

Can I purchase multiple subscriptions using the same AppSheet account?

Each AppSheet account has a single subscription. It is not possible to have some apps in an account associated with one subscription and other apps associated with a different subscription. To purchase multiple subscriptions, you can create additional AppSheet accounts—using different user accounts (such as, Google, Microsoft, etc.)—to add apps to a different subscription.

Why is the AppSheet Enterprise Standard subscription going away?

The new pricing allows enterprise customers to enjoy a clearly differentiated experience from AppSheet Core at a more competitive price. For more information, see the Community announcement.
