You can download templates for your conversion bulk uploads. Google Ads supports the following formats for bulk uploads: .csv, .tsv, .xls, .xlsx, and Google Sheets.

Download templates from Google Ads

1. In your Google Ads account, click the Goals icon .
2. In the Conversions menu, select Uploads.
3. Click the plus button .
4. Click the View templates link.
5. Select a template format to download in the “Download templates” window.

Upload custom variable data

To upload custom variable data, format the template by following the steps below.

1. Create a new column titled cv:variable_tag.
2. Enter the variable value in the new column for each conversion.
