Switch between automatic and manual payments

Depending on the country of your billing address, you can switch your payment setting (from automatic to manual payments, or vice-versa) directly in your Google Ads account. In some cases, switching payment settings might require creating a new payment profile. Learn how to create and manage your payments profile.

• Automatic payments: Your automatic payment will happen on the first day of each month, and whenever your account reaches a payment threshold.
• Manual payments: You'll need to manually make payments before your ads can run.
