You can use analytics to better understand your channel and individual video performance with key metrics and reports in YouTube Studio. To dive even deeper, you can use Advanced Mode to view an expanded analytics report where you can get specific data, compare performance, and export data. Get to YouTube Analytics

View reports from channel level

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
  2. From the left menu, click Analytics .

View reports at the video level

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
  2. From the left menu, select Content .
  3. Point to your video and select Analytics .

In YouTube Analytics, you can find different tabs that help you understand your data.

Overview tab (channel or video level)

Reach tab (video level)

The Audience tab shows you who is watching your videos. The key metrics card shows your monthly audience and subscribers. You can also view what percentage of your audience are new, casual, and regular viewers. Learn more about your audience.

Revenue (channel or video level)

If you’re in the YouTube Partner Program, the Revenuetab helps you track your earnings on YouTube. You can access the Revenue metrics on a channel or video level. The key metrics card shows your estimated revenue. Finalized earnings appear in YouTube Analytics once your payments are added to AdSense for YouTube, typically between the 7th and 12th day of the following month. Note:

The Trends tab gives you a summary of what your audience and viewers across YouTube are searching for. You can access trending insights on a channel level. The insights from the Trends tab can help you discover content gaps for videos and Shorts, and video ideas that viewers may want to watch. Learn how to use the Trends tab.
