i met sutton!!! (original) (raw)
The Drowsy Chaperone.
I didn't expect much from this musical, having heard NOTHING of it.. All i knew was that Sutton Foster [goddess of little women, throughly modern millie] was going to be in it. Joyee got us REALLY good seats for only 20 dollars. So we got front row box balcony seats. saw everything up close and so clear. I was astonished at how much a musical can make me laugh SOOO hard.. seriously, i had NO IDEA!!!!
For those who need a laugh after a long day or long months of feeling "blue" you will seriously enjoy this musical. I don't think there was a minute without laughing from the audience. the characters are clever. The scenes are superb. The basis of the whole show is just GREAT!!!!
soo... now on to STAGE DOOR!
then........
I had made sutton a drawing/illustration of some of her roles in musicals and i showed it to her and she liked it a lot [you can see the rolled up paper with joyee] and we got her autograph.. thanked me for the drawing.. and then i also told her that i heard that she liked Beck and mellow music so i gave her a rilo kiley, more adventurous cd as a gift. Thankfully she never heard of them so yeah!!! I'm hoping to go back to watch the musical and stage door it to see how she liked it :]
anywho i was sooo nervous.. my hands were shaking [see the shakiness of joyee's picture that i took] but it was cool.. she asked us what we thought of the musical and we were so ecstatic about it.. it really looks like she enjoys doing it too cause she was talking about how she thinks the musical is so different..
eckkk so yeah..
iwasn't even this nervous meeting stephanie, maybe cause i already emailed her a couple of times.. Sutton was sooo sweet and so friendly :]
here's the drawing:
so all you los angeles people out there.. watch it while it lasts! one more week!!!!!
