Thanks to the filming efforts of James Foster, father of Team USA co-captain Carson Foster, we have some race videos from 2019 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Budapest.

Men’s 100 free semi-final 1:

SWE’s Robin HANSON touches first in the first heat of men’s 100 free in 49.65. CAN’s Joshua LIENDO EDWARDS second in 49.73, just ahead of USA’s Adam CHANEY in 49.77

Men’s 100 free semi-final 2:

RUS’s Andrei MINAKOV goes 49.19 to win heat 2 of men’s 100 free. ITA’s Stefano NICETTO, out very quickly from lane 1, touches 2nd with 49.92. Vladyslav BUKHOV third in 50.00

Men’s 50 fly final:

Thomas CECCON of ITA wins 50 fly final in 23.37 from lane 2, just out-touching Andrei MINAKOV of RUS (23.39), and Josif MILADINOV of BUL (23.48)

Women’s 50 free semi-final 1:

Gretchen WALSH of USA wins semi-final 1 of women’s 50 free in 25.10. Coming in second is RSA’s Aimee CANNY in 25.29, followed by AUT’s Nina GANGL in 25.36. (Bianca-Andreea COSTEA of ROU DQd in heat 1, lane 7; it looked like a false start but we never heard the official reason.)

Women’s 50 free semi-final 2:

Maxine PARKER of USA wins heat 2 of 50 free semi-final in 24.96, her best by .25 to go under 25 for the first time. Just behind Parker is Meg HARRIS of AUS in 25.02, followed by ITA’s Costanza COCCONCELLI in 25.49

Men’s 400 IM final:
