Guelman & Unknown Gallery Opens In Berlin
BERLIN, GERMANY - APRIL 26: Russian dissident, gallerist and art collector Marat Guelman poses for a portrait during the pre-opening of the Guelman and Unknown (Guelman und Unbekannt) Gallery on April 26, 2023 in Berlin, Germany. The new gallery will focus on digital art, especially art created through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Guelman has long been associated with artists and figures in Russia whom the government of Russian President Vladimir Putin does not like, including the punk band Pussy Riot and opposition politician Alexei Navalny, leading the government to designate Guelman a "foreign agent" in 2021.
