In this approach variable step Newton-Raphson algorithm is applied to improve the dynamic response of PV array MPPT which is based on improved perturb and observe (lP&O) algorithm. Improved perturb and observe (lP&O) MPPT algorithm and model predictive control (MPC) are developed to control the output current of a boost converter in order to extract maximum solar power from the panel. MPPT tracker compels the system to operate at maximum power point through appropriate control of boost DCIDC converter. In the fmal stage a simple model predictive current control strategy is employed for two-level three-phase inverter to deliver power to a load. Descriptions of the proposed system along with detailed simulation results which verify its feasibility are given using MATLAB/Simulink software.

The proposed topology employs less number of components. This structure consists of a single DC voltage source, several low-frequency transformers and switching devices. There are two switching devices in each module of the proposed structure and there is only a module with three power switches. However, in conventional cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverters four switches are used in each module. The number of gate drivers are reduced respectively along with the switches which results in smaller size, lower cost, lower power consumption in driving circuits and higher efficiency. To verify the performance of the proposed structure, Simulation results carried out by PSCAD/EMTDC and a low-power experimental setup was used to test the converter in practice.

In this approach variable step secand method is applied to improve the dynamic response of wind turbine MPPT which is based on incremental conductance (INC) algorithm. This method is also independent of specifications of turbine and generator. For lowering costs and improving reliability of system, the proposed maximum power track6er does not have any mechanical sensors. MPPT tracker forces the system to operate at maximum power point by appropriate control of a boost DC/DC converter. Model predictive control is used to control the boost converter. In the final stage a simple model predictive control method is employed for two-level three-phase inverter to deliver power to a load. Simulation results in MATLAB/SIMULINK validate feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

The proposed converter interfaces two unidirectional input power ports, a port for a storage element in a unified structure. The proposed structure utilizes only four power switches which are independently controlled with four different duty ratios. The system is responsible for provision of the power needed for lighting system under any circumstances to promotion of reliability of the lighting system. A new method of Maximum power point tracking strategy based on Newton-Raphson algorithm is presented for PMSG variable speed turbine generation system, which makes a high efficiency wind power system .
