This study utilized a mixed-method technique to investigate the perceptions on technologies and development strategies among a randomly-selected sample of 33 EFL teachers from different colleges in various Arab countries. A questionnaire (N=33) and 14 interviews provided descriptive data on tools like blended learning and videoconferencing, collaborative/self-directed development approaches, and perceived impacts on teaching and learning. Interviews offered deeper insights. Teachers expressed confidence in technology use and agreed on benefits, aligning with literature. However, gaps remained in supporting adoption through adequate training, online development opportunities, and realization of impacts. Key challenges were resources, customized assistance, addressing evolving needs, and motivation. Quantitative results evidenced greater effectiveness of technology-focused versus general professional development. Qualitative findings explicated patterns. Overall, despite positive perceptions, comprehensive, sustained, multidimensional support tailored to dynamic contexts appears vital for maximizing technology integration benefits to advance English teaching in Arab countries. This emphasizes the relationship between technology and professional development for Arab EFL educators.

English language proficiency testing is an important part of education for English as a Foreign
Language (EFL) learners. However, test anxiety can negatively impact students' performance
and confidence. This study examined examination confidence and effective preparation
strategies among 33 EFL undergraduate students in Saudi Arabia. Quantitative data were
collected through a survey measuring students' anxiety levels, experiences integrating study
techniques, and assurance across reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Results
showed test anxiety is highly prevalent, influencing over three-quarters of students. Selfassessment,
advance planning, and past paper practice were seen as most impactful for
boosting confidence. While teachers played an active role in guidance and skill-building,
expansion of school anxiety resources was recommended. Confidence varied between skills,
highest for reading and the lowest for speaking. Key implications included targeting listening
and oral practice, expanding self-evaluation integration, and differentiating instruction based
on skill needs. Overall findings highlight the importance of guided, regular strategy use
tailored towards individual strengths and weaknesses. With diligent implementation of
proven techniques aligned to student routines and routines, EFL educators can foster
classroom environments that empower students to achieve their examination goals with
greater self-assurance. Addressing test confidence stands to optimize EFL learning outcomes.

Indicating how committing certain errors in written English structures constrains Sudanese English learners’ performance. Investigating English grammatical structures experienced by Sudanese learners who are preparing to graduate with B.A. in English. Therefore, the roles that grammatical structures play in models of communicative competence are discussed in this paper. Additionally, the study explains the role of mastering these structures in communicative purposes. The obtained results revealed that Sudanese students are incompetent in using grammar well enough for some real-communicational purpose. Grammatical structures play a role in language communicative competence for the learners of English language. Learners’ mastery of the language communicative ability is affected when language learners are unable to successfully communicate in L2 without cultural knowledge of what is considered appropriate according to a particular context in the target language.

It takes a comprehensive approach by exploring the creation of supportive environments, the use of communicative activities, the provision of explicit strategy instruction, and the implementation of relaxation techniques. The study integrates relevant research with teacher input to identify gaps in the literature and emphasize individualized support. Ultimately, focusing on teachers’ viewpoints and endorsing a multilayered approach across professional learning, classroom practices, and student services, the study contributes unique insights and recommends establishing an anxiety-reducing learning environment through communication, collaboration, coping strategies, and a holistic framework coordinated across levels of the education system.

perceptions of teacher education groups' role in supporting technology integration through a
questionnaire administered to 45 educators. Results showed strong agreement that digital tools
enhance TESOL instruction, though integration poses difficulties. Respondents perceived teacher
education groups as playing a crucial role in professional development and effectively supporting
technology adoption. Programs focused on developing digital skills were seen as knowledgeenhancing,
though addressing effective integration strategies remains an area for improvement.
Collaborative opportunities and mentoring facilitated by these groups received predominantly
positive feedback. When considering advocacy and policy influence, results indicated agreement
that teacher education groups significantly advocate for technology use, receiving significantly
higher ratings than their perceived policy impact potential. Intended impacts on instructional
quality and learning outcomes also achieved strong agreement. Comparisons found response
consistency across items. This study provides initial validation that teacher education groups
importantly facilitate technology integration for TESOL according to educators' perceptions,
corroborating frameworks around their roles in collaborative professional growth. Insights offer
data to inform sustainable practices and advance the field through advocacy and professional
development, suggesting teacher education groups make meaningful contributions despite
preliminary findings.

The participants in this study are 46 students from Taibah University Alula Campos' Languages and Translation Department for the 2019-2020 academic year. To collect data about the study, the researchers used quizzes and written exams. This paper examines a number of challenges that students confront when taking quizzes or assessments on English poetry comprehension. The study shows that the students do not know how to define literature or classify its major genres using complete sentences. Neither do they distinguish the definition of poetry or a poem from the characteristics of a poem or the basic elements of a poem. Another common error students make when submitting their coursework is failing to employ proper formatting and literary language. Thus, this paper investigates these problems and analyzes the data acquired from their answers and assignments and finally, the researchers will give recommendations to correct students' problems and avoid them as soon as possible.

The main objective is to show the contribution of these stylistic features (rhetorical questions and use of polyphony) in construing meaning and heightening the aesthetic values of novella and show how focus on specific stylistic features helps in analyzing a literary text. The researchers used the analytical approach to examine how the use of rhetorical questions and polyphony helps in constructing the meaning of the novella and highlighting its main themes. This study will be helpful to students of literature who want to better understand stylistic analysis and how writers use stylistic devices to enhance the meaning they want to convey. The study could also serve as a springboard for further studies in this area and could promote academic discourse on stylistic analysis of various Arabic literary works in English translation.

It aims at investigating the English syntactic structures experienced by Sudanese Students at secondary schools. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method in this study and a test as a tool for collecting data. The sample of the study was about ninety nine students at secondary schools in the academic year (2013-2014). After the analysis of the types of errors made by the subjects, the study has come out with many findings. The major problem behind the students' errors is the mother tongue interference. The Sudanese learners of English in general seem not to have an adequate proficiency in understanding the meaning and semantics when they express themselves in English syntactic structures. Students need a supplementary method in order to express themselves accurately. Finally the researcher has recommended certain areas such as: Teachers and students should be aware of the importance of writing in relation to other skills. Activating English literature lessons and providing a library for extra activities. Students need enough time to practice writing in the class room because the time allotted for teaching English is not matched to the content of the syllabus designed. Students should be prepared to use the language for a variety of purposes beyond the classroom.
