We explore the factors that impact the behavior and attitude of students toward the use of AI in higher education. We employed a quantitative approach using a wide range of adoption theories and models, including the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology model. We formulated hypotheses and verified the conceptual model. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 350 students. The structural equation model (SEM) was applied to estimate the relationship between dependent and independent variables. Based on SEM results, we found that despite perceived risk negatively impacting students’ attitudes, the factors of performance expectancy and facilitating conditions significantly influenced students’ attitudes and their behavioral intention to use AI in education. The results also show that effort expectancy does not significantly influence atti...

This study aims to determine the constituents that affect scholars when using LMS for graduation during the pandemic. This research also examines the impact of the students' anxiety level when using the LMS by conducting multiple group analyses with the partial least square's method. The results show a significant influence on the students' anxiety level when using the LMS. Students who have a low level of anxiety exhibited insignificant communication quality regarding the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Meanwhile, students with a high level of anxiety highlight a consequential effect of communication quality in the perceived ease of use and usefulness. Moreover, students with a low level of anxiety displayed significantly high-perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and subject norm when using the LMS. In contrast, st...

Despite the significant advantages of information technology, particularly in information accessibility and internet applications, cyber security has risen to become a national concern in Saudi Arabia, and cyber security threats now need to be taken more seriously. Therefore, computer and network security are a concern not only for traditional security awareness organisations, for example, military, bank, or financial institutions, but also for every individual and government official who use computers. Besides, nowadays, more and more organisations' valuable assets are stored in the computerised information system; security has become an essential and urgent issue. However, it is remarkable that most systems today are designed with little attention to security concerns. This study aims to examine and analyse cyber security issues, including cyber risk, cyber security, cyber security awareness, and cyber trust, among higher education students in Saudi Arabia. Based on an analysis of the collected data using SPSS, the findings of this study highlight a lack of awareness of basic information related to cyber security among Saudi students. In addition, the number of students attending training programs was very low. Considering other security issues, this study reveals that while Saudi students are aware of cyber risk, they are not aware of cyber security. In addition, Saudi students are not aware of and do not have cyber trust.

This research provides a deep understanding of the concept of trust in e-government by investigating the influence of technology, government agencies, risk, citizens’ characteristic. Structure Equation Modelling PLS-SEM is utilized to analyse the collected data and to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings of the study reveals the positive and significant impacts of both technical factors and citizens’ characteristic while factors related to government agencies and risk provide negative impacts in trust in egovernment. Also, this paper identifies effective strategies that government need to develop citizens’ trust on their online services. Research contributions and limitations are also discussed in the end of the paper.

This study analyzes the critical factors influencing students’ satisfaction with their continuing use of online learning management systems in higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the integration of social cognitive theory, expectation confirmation theory, and DeLone and McLean’s IS success model, a survey was conducted of 181 UK students who engaged with learning management systems. It was found that, during the pandemic, service quality did not influence students’ satisfaction, although both information quality and self-efficacy had significant impacts on satisfaction. In addition, the results revealed that neither self-efficacy nor satisfaction impacted personal outcome expectations, although prior experience a...

Several studies have examined ISP compliance from a dissuasive perspective; however, the results were mixed. This empirical study analyses the impact of organisational security factors and individual non-compliance on users' intentions toward information security policies. A research model and hypotheses have been developed in this quantitative study. Data from 352 participants was collected through a questionnaire, which then validated the measurement model. The findings revealed that while security system anxiety and non-compliant peer behaviours negatively impact users' compliance intentions, work impediments positively influence these intentions. Security visibility negatively influences users' non-compliance, and security education systems positively impact work impediments. This research will help information security managers address the problem of information security compliance because it provides them with an understanding of one of the many factors underlying employee compliance behaviors.

Limited studies have been done using small- and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector. Furthermore, a small number of parameters have been used in the previous studies. This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of security organizational practices on information security management performance with many parameters. A model has been developed together with hypotheses to evaluate the impact of organizational practices on information security management performance. The data is collected from 171 UK employees at manufacturing SMEs that had already implemented security policies. The structure equation model is employed via the SPSS Amos 22 tool for the evaluation of results. Our results state that security training, knowledge sharing, security education, and sec...

This paper provides a critical and systematic review of the current literature on citizens' trust in e-government, with a particular focus on the most critical factors influencing citizens' trust in respect of the adoption of e-government. The extant literature was identified through six electronic databases, from 2000 to 2014. Academic articles were reviewed if they contained a relevant discussion of the antecedents or factors influencing citizens' trust in e-government adoption. The findings of this review reveal that several studies have been conducted in the area of trust in e-government (particularly trust in government and trust in the internet) with limited consideration to citizen's aspects of trust (such as personality, culture, gender, experience, education level, beliefs and value systems). Based on the findings of the review, a conceptual framework is proposed by developing the updated DeLone and McLean IS Success Model to establish a framework which presents the antecedents of trust in e-government adoption.
