They consume much of time. This paper presents a direct method of computing the discrete linear convolution, circular convolution and deconvolution. The most significant aspect, is the development of a multiplier and divider architecture based on high speed algorithm. It shows that the implementation of linear convolution and circular convolution is efficient in terms of area and speed compared to their implementation using conventional multiplier & divider architectures. In this paper we study different forms of high speed convolution and deconvolution system using FPGA.

Building on Spence's fragmented archive of publications and interviews, we explore how she worked for and with disenfranchised Black township inhabitants on materializing alternative housing options. Spence's approach included careful observation of how different inhabitantsparticularly women-used interior spaces. While her work responded pragmatically to distinct South African social, economic, and racial challenges, this article shows that her design-research was indebted to both European design thinking on the optimization of domestic space and American-South African debates on "race relations." Her concern with incremental housing, self-construction, and the process of building and homemaking in the townships, we argue, should be understood as a form of political action that enabled selfdetermination within the framework of modern urban life.

The diagnosis is based on biopsy showing the presence of characteristic histological changes in duodenum and jejunum that improve after gluten free diet. The Oberhuber Classification is very widely used by pathologists. The new Corazza-Villanacci Classification simplifies the criteria. Methods: Retrospectively diagnosed 200 patients of Celiac disease according to Oberhuber classification over duration of 05 years were considered. The 200 cases were retrieved from the records and were sent to two pathologists, who were blinded to each other and were not given any clinical information. Each pathologist received the set of biopsy specimens on two separate occasions and had reclassified them according to both grading systems in a random order. The interobserver variation was then determined after re-examination according to Oberhuber classification and after using to Corazza-Villanacci classification too Result: Mean kappa values were 0.77 (good) for the Oberhuber classification versus 0.98 (very good) for the Corazza-Villanacci classification Conclusion: The Corazza-Villanacci classification gives better interobserver agreement compared with the Oberhuber classification and contributes to the validity of diagnosis in celiac disease.

In each case, the analysis challenges the often-perceived notion of the local, in this case Indian, actors in the Global South as mere recipients of superior foreign technologies, positing them instead as critical assessors, evaluators and decision makers. In the first example of UK's Alcrete House, well known as the reason for German architect Otto Koenigsberger's infamous departure from India, the paper examines archival materials, discussed here for the first time, to shed light on the role of Indian players who demanded accountability from foreign experts. In the second lesser-known example of the Swiss lightweight concrete building product, Durisol, the analysis highlights the role of local architects like Shaukat Rai, who deployed his own transnational and intranational networks in the product's bid to enter the Indian construction market in the early 1950s.

The shifting scientific theories and the resultant construction of expectations for health and comfort were thus shaped, not only by the ecology of dust, germs and pollen, but also by social, economic and political machinations of race and class.

It reveals that the marketing strategies and air conditioning installations by the firm extended and intensified exclusionary colonial notions about race, climate and civilization. The article analyzes the practice of "retro-fit"—retroactive installation of air conditioning in existing buildings in India, and "future-fit"—design of new buildings for later accommodation of air conditioning, within the context of the inequitable sociocultural framing mentioned above. The analysis is supported by a juxtaposition of the firm's external and in-house literature, which allows a rare insight into publicly advertised and privately-held notions about air conditioning. Such an investigation is deeply instructive in understanding subsequent and current architectural approaches to thermal comfort, not only in India but at a broader global level, where alternative transcultural approaches are receiving increased attention in the Anthropocene era.

FALLON SAMUELS AIDOO: I'm so glad that all of you were able to spend this time with us today. One of the challenging things about having a conversation across geographies is finding a time zone and slot that can somewhat work for everybody. So I appreciate everyone taking time to join us. And I want to also acknowledge the fact that there are some contributors to this journal who were not able to join us, and so I don't want to present this conversation as comprehensive of all the voices that are even just a part of this journal, let alone all the many voices that are part of this conversation well beyond this particular call for papers from this volume of Future Anterior. That said, I figure it's about time that Daniel and I introduce ourselves and give you a little bit more background than perhaps you found Googling and such. I don't believe that I know any of you in any kind of personal way, so that's both exciting and daunting, to be honest. I, Fallon Samuels Aidoo, am an assistant professor of Planning and Preservation at the University of New Orleans, and that has put me in a position of trying to bridge the gap between the conversations on the built environment from a kind of planning perspective with that of the kind of architectural field from which I originally hail. And so a lot of my perspectives on the issue of retrofit are derivative of being that bridge, particularly as it relates to discourse and scholarship on how to address risks and hazards of various kinds. And the fact that I'm situated at a university that has a Hazards Research Center, which is very actively involved in climate, refugee resettlements, and managed retreats and has conducted for the city of New Orleans a study of building elevation and how that relates to flood risk. So I'm kind of steeped in all things, what to do about our built environment, but I'm also not in community with, here at my institution, people who come from architecture and heritage fields. So I'm really excited to engage in these conversations with all of you. And I look forward to understanding how our different worlds intersect and what nexuses we can forge forward.
