Mod Post - Temporary Moderation Even though this comm is pretty quiet, due to spoilers that floating around (already!!) for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I have changed this comm's settings to moderated and posted the following in the comm's user info:
I have temporarily changed the settings of this comm so that both membership and posting are moderated, due to spoilers floating around for the 7th Harry Potter book. I'll switch it back a few days after the book is released. Thank you all for your cooperation and understanding!

Radio transcript? I had the fortune of catching Phil on the radio this morning, including a half hour that I managed to record (sacrificing a Yanni tape in the process). I didn't get the half where he talks about the show, but I can transcribe the half I do have, if people are interested. It prooobably won't come across the same in text versus what I'm hearing right now, though. And the part where he sings karaoke? Definitely not the same.
San Francisco people -- there's a talk he's doing tonight from 6:15 to 8:15, one night only, for 10(edited:plusa10 (edited: plus a 10(edited:plusa13.50 'Learning Annex' membership).

I'm only 15 minutes into TAR and I already want to see yellow shirt fail.
Hellboy needs to lose the antennae, soon. (Where's an Indian head-shaving ceremony when you need it?)
And despite wrestlerboy being a wuss, the wrestlers are my favorite team so far.

I posted a poll yesterday regarding the possibility of post-episode chats. If you haven't yet filled it out, I'd appreciate it if you would do so. Despite the lack of response, I think we'll try to have a chat on AIM tonight, beginning at 10:30 Central time. I need to work fairly early in the morning, but I think the chatroom stays open as long as anyone is in it, so y'all can probably carry on without me if I have to leave. I always find it so difficult to remember who is who during the first few episodes, so I thought I'd gather all the information into one area so I could have something to refer to tonight. CBS's website is good, but I didn't want to constantly be clicking on links and changing pages.

More TAR from TV Guide Online CHARLA'S GONE MAD!: Fox's MADtv is extending Amazing Race fave Charla Faddoul's 15 minutes of fame. The 4-foot-tall reality phenom and her less-popular cousin, Mirna, will make an appearance on the sketch comedy's Sept. 18 season premiere. In their skit, titled the "Amazing Presidential Race," Charla and Mirna help Ralph Nader defeat Kerry and Bush for president. Actually, Charla helps him while Mirna sits around and does nothing.
