Dr. Peter Rigney is Industrial Officer of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions. A graduate of TCD he is author Trains Coal and Turf – Transport in Emergency Ireland and co-authored with Shay Cody and John O Dowd of The Parliament of Labour, a history of the Dublin Council of Trade Unions. He is Assistant archivist of the Irish Railway Record Society.
