Team UOI is now on Facebook. Go there now and like us (we know you do but it's good to have confirmation).
Also, BIG NEWS! Team UOI now has it's first official case. Due to travel constraints, we plan to take on this case in late June or early July. Any local cases would of course happen sooner but this is officially our first client. If you are haunted, please let us know! Even if we can't make it to your location, we can provide long distance consultation for free. Our email is uoinvestigations at gmail.
Team UOI is now linked to by ParanormalSocieties.com. We would like to thank them for selfishly providing such a valuable service to the paranormal community for free.
Team UOI Now Taking Cases
Team UOI is now taking cases! If you would like us to investigate a property in central Ohio or are in need of consultation from anywhere, please contact us at uoinvestigations at gmail dot com.
What many refer to as ghosts were once living human beings. They had families, lived in houses, ate food, cried, laughed, and learned. They are us. They should not be treated any differently. The pursuit of paranormal evidence should thus be sought with the utmost care and respect. Spirits do not cling to this world for our amusement. Many of them never got the closure that they deserved. Many of them are scared and lost. Many of them are in need of our help. Many of them are just as complex as we are. A poltergeist may seem scary, but it could simply be the equivalent of someone acting out to get attention because deep down they need someone to just recognize that they are there. Paranormal investigators are (or should be) mentors for both the living and the dead.
Almost There

Myself and gothkat have been working on building Unknown Origins Investigations (our paranormal investigation team) from the ground up since last October when we did our initial trail run during Halloween. Nearly six months later and we are nearly operational. Our last pieces of equipment are currently in Jacksonville, Florida waiting to be placed on a UPS truck for delivery by Friday. It's been really hectic trying to pull together the funds all this time but as they say; all good things come in time. As soon as we find a break in our schedule, we will be looking to take on our second investigation together.

I had fun testing this out around the house. Our place is flooded with EMF. Yay for poorly shielded electrical systems. I can't wait to try it at an investigation site. Now all that UOI needs is proper cameras and a digital recorder.

Team UOI now has a Twitter account. Please follow @TeamUOI for short updates. Detailed updates will be available here when they become available.
On a related note, one of our first major pieces of evidence is our user icon there. We believe that it may be a mist form. There will be much more information about that particular location in the coming months.
