Nov. 4th, 2004 12:05 pm "she looked up at his footsteps, smiling brightly/his smile was smaller, and he grabbed her hand"Greetings and Salutations! Found this community through another community I belong to, and as I'm always looking for support from fellow writers, thought I'd join. So I did.Real name is Stefanie, although I do have various internet-related and literary aliases. I'm 21, currently studying English/Creative Writing and history in my last year at college in Boston Massachusetts. (Which as a word, I can never spell correctly). Am originially from CT. Mostly write short stories and poetry, although lately I've been dabbling in noveltry and personal essays. Here's to writing? (After all, given everything else, do we really have anything else right now?)Current Mood: introductoryLeave a comment

Nov. 3rd, 2004 01:00 amHi, I'm Rose.I've been looking for a community for writers, where I can feel comfortable posting my poetry and get some good feedback and constructive criticism. I'm hoping I've landed in the right spot.I do an okay job on layouts (see my journal) and would be willing to help if you'd like help on the layout. Also, I don't konw what being a co-mod would involve, but I'm online often enough to do something like that, probably. So... let me know if you would like me to help. :)Leave a comment

Please feel free to introduce yourselves. Also, i mentioned in the last post that a couple of people didn't like the holding page for the site, so i bring before you a new one. Oct. 30th, 2004 06:08 pm Update (Community Promo...)For the benefit of you members (when you start signing up) i've posted the details of our little community up in the following:el_manmusemuggerspoeticdripsweekly_journalwriter_ads_newswriting_101authorscibolacreativewriterempty_thoughtsI can strongly suggest you take a look at these as i am a memeber of all of them and have found them very useful at times. Especially when i have that nasty writers block syndrome. Can i also point you in the direction of a couple of websites that i've found to be particularly good:Journal SparksElectric MandolinWriting PromptsWriting.com_There will be another update in a couple of days time, right now i am working on a new homepage for the main site as some people have mentioned that the one that they are seeing now is a little bland. So expect results on that in the next few days.I'm still looking for someone to maybe do some art work or design for here and the main site too so please get in touch if you have any thoughts or ideas you wish to share._Thanks :)Leave a comment
