Hello, and thank you for stopping by! Unfortunately, The-Golden-Butterfly is on an indefinite hiatus and will never return. Do not fret though! The group has been made into an archive. You are free to remove your art or writings as you wish. You are also free to keep or remove your apps from this archive. Understand some things are unfortunately missing- you may come across some dead links. What is gone is not forgotten though, and what individuals choose to leave behind shall forever remain here.
We would like to thank every member and admin (current or previous) who made The-Golden-Butterfly into the wonderful place it used to be. Thank you for your service and what you did to make this community great. We thank every person who contributed to this group, no matter who you are or were or what place you held in the group. We would like this place to be remembered for what it inspired in so many- a child like wonder, a rich nostalgia, and endless creativity.
We are sorry for what happened here. We sincerely apologize to those this group has hurt. For what it is worth, for every bad thing someone has done in TGB or to TGB know that we forgive you- and in time, we hope you can forgive us.
It is from this experience we hope to learn and improve upon the group's ideas, ourselves, and the community it so inspired. From the ashes of TGB we have built a new group. A group that strives and will try to do right by everyone. The story of TGB may be over here in this place but the story has not concluded! If you wish to continue the story TGB left off on, you may visit our sister group, Havensake. We wish you a great day, and we hope we get to see you there!
