hey ho! just joined so hi, introduce: My name is Ariel, im a native New Yorker and lover of everything CBGB and generally lower east side, but i go to school in the dirrrty south at Savannah College of Art and design where i study costume design. Favorite Ramones songs are Judy is a Punk and I wanna be your boyfriend.

Time to revive this community.
I just got a lovely Ramones shirt for Christmas. It's the eagle logo with their names, and 'RAMONES' written above it in red. I hearts it, so much.
Anyone else got Ramones shirts?

To commemorate Joey's life and help draw attention to CBGB's plight, Killing Fantasy invites you to don your tightest leather jacket as It prepares to transform the Retro Bar into the legendary club for the night! The Killing Fantasy DJ's will be paying respect to their favourite musicians who began life there with a playlist featuring bands such as Blondie,Patti Smith Group, Television, Wayne County, New York Dolls, Johnny Thunders, The Ramones and more!
Of course, this will compliment the usual Killing Fantasy Riot Grrrl, Lo-fi, new wave and sleazy Rock N Roll Sounds
and they will be accompanied by free sweets, Le Tigre givaways, social dancing
and lashings of rock n roll excess! Be there!
Killing Fantasy takes place on Thursday April 28th at Retro bar, Sackville Street,
