_8:20 pm_[insaneladybug]	Fic and a question I ended up starting my sequel to Don't Go Out on Friday Night. I should have waited until November since I was doing an October Writing challenge, but I just couldn't wait. Three chapters are up now.I don't feel like formatting it for Livejournal, so I'll just link it. If anyone is still around who wants to read it, they can follow the link. It picks up several weeks after Friday Night and goes into a crossword mystery (inspired by the awesome cover of The Batman Strikes! #40, since the inside story sadly didn't match up to the awesomeness of the cover). As with the first fic, there will be a heavy emphasis on interaction between The Riddler and Yin, as well as The Riddler and Batman. Julie and Gorman will play supporting roles.41 Down is SaturdayAlso, was The Riddler ever featured in any of the coloring books or other merchandise for the series? I have the three The Batman Strikes! comic issues with him and the action figure. And the DVDs, of course. :) And I know he's featured in The Book of Crooks (still can't believe the weight they gave for him). Wondering if there's anything else to collect. Wow, hard to believe it's been 10 years since The Batman premiered....About six years ago, I wrote a multi-chapter fic heavily involving The Batman's version of The Riddler, Don't Go Out On Friday Night. I've always fully intended to write a sequel, but one thing or another has always gotten in the way.For some reason, I woke up with the urge to actually write it this time. I planned out a little more of things and even did some sketches of The Riddler a few minutes ago.I might not be able to start writing until November, if I really go ahead with it this time, but regardless of if or when, is anyone still here from back in the day who would be interested in me posting it here? _12:55 pm_[lillithss]	Marathooon. Got to stay home today because the power is out at my school, and so between working on summatives and writing I've been having a The Batman marathon =3Gah. Words cannot express how much I love this show. I'm still only on Traction (just started not too long ago, and got distracted when someone asked me to help put up a ceiling), but I'm already a little 'SQUEE' about it.Also, I'm so in love with Bane, seriously. I swear, every time Killer Croc opens his mouth to speak, I have a mini fangasm. I mean, seriously, I don't think a day has gone by since the first day I watched it (I watched in on Broadcaster, so I got to see it in order, although sadly they've taken it down now) that my brain hasn't been plagued by thoughts about it. I feel like some sort of unrequited lover. Or maybe an abused spouse, considering how much shit this fandom's given me.You may have noticed that I'm both a villainaholic and a slasher. My icon might have given away my OTP, and seriously, I've gotten way too much crap for liking this pairing, and so I've mostly kept myself out of the fandom pool except for the posting of fanfiction and fanart. Discussion and I have had a very love/hate relationship in all of the fandoms I've been in in the past, so I tend to avoid it, but you guys seem like a very nice (and very dead) lot, so I figured I'd throw my hat into the ring.I'm a bit helter-skelter with the things I do in fandom, so I'm pretty much a Jane of all trades. Fanfiction is my main element, but although I may suck at it, I tend to draw whenever I'm bored and the muse for my writing is gone. I also make icons (I made all of my current userpics) and videos of the music variety.Also, aside from the entirety of season 5 (except for White Heat, I loved that episode <3), I've seen the entire series. In fact, I own the entire series, I just can't be bothered to watch season 5 with so much other stuff on my plate right now. I've also read most all of the comic and actually liked it more than the show, if only because it seemed to realize a lot of what the show did wrong, and not only eliminated a lot of it, it also made fun of it (such as the horrible puns).And I'm pretty good for rambling at. Who knows, I might ramble back. I also might flood this place with journal entries on every slightest The Batman thought that enters my brain, and ramble about my TB fanverse.
