_10:21 pm_[nita_au] | Looking for some ideas Hi, I have been looking for an image that I can use as a tat, but so far I have not been able to find anything that I like. What I'm looking for is one or two dog paws with celtic knots inside them, but not taking up the entire area. I don't know how to explain it any better than that, if your looking for a challenge this would be a great thing.I can't afford to pay you, but I'm sure we can come to some arrangement where it will be beneficial for both of us. If you would like any more information or anything, drop me a line at blossum@gmail.com with celtic tat or something similar in the subject. Thanks for taking the time to read this.Nita (Comment on this) |

_1:28 pm_[cerulean_entity] | Unique, imaginative, not perverted mind required. Greetings, i understand this is a website for artists to meet and combine there skills for role players to perhaps get a picture for there character, and in my case get concept art for a book i am writing.I am looking for an artist whom is free yet is at least midly skilled in Anthromorphic Art ( note that i am not of the Stereo-typic post-trendy Furry fandom but a writer whom has a unique idea and requires someone with an extremely wide imagination ) I have always had a problem with Anthromorphic styled art even though it is my favorite it is an Art theme that has been pulled deeply into the clutches of perverse minds and turned into just that...a perversion...which is why i will not call myself one of the furry fandom as it is something that has gotten me judged, condemned and otherwise looked down upon thanks to the same minds whom probably turned many other art genres into a Perverse Stereo-typeWhat i hold is a unique Anthromorphic concept which contains a vast and unique world in which has never been seen in such an Art/writing style which is so patiently written that i believe it has ripped away from cliches without getting any sort of bland or boring after effect, i of course cannot say alot of my book nor can i give out my character details on a web site in which they could easily be stolen in but the blink of an eye.Yet i say that if there is an Artist out there who wishes to test there pen/marker/pencil i am waiting for you to contact me and your aid would very much be appreciated as i am not even sure that this will even get through...yet if it does you are promised to have a challenge and something you will enjoy drawing to the fullest. if you are interested simply leave a comment and then i will grant my email so that we may discuss such further. of course respect for my copyright and works is required and i will do the same with what is drawn and not post it or distribute it in any area in which theft could occur. _9:10 pm_[kalel42] | I am looking for someone willing to draw my favorite RPG character. I am looking for someone willing to draw my all time favorite character from my pen and paper RPG days. I don't have anything to offer other than my thanks and admiration. I played this character in the Marvel Superheroes RPG from the 1980's. For a simple description he a male version of Rogue form the X-men who, like Rogue, gained permanent abilities from another mutant (Harpoon of the Marauders) by staying contact too long.I would love to see some artwork of this character in any form or medium. I never really had any character design for him so this is all open to interpretation. For more in depth details and some references refer to this webpage:http://hancockcircus.to.md/character/character.htm (1 Comment |Comment on this) |

_5:08 pm_[ishmayl] | In search of Artist Hiya folks,I'm looking for an artist to help with a project I'm working on at my site, the Campaign Builders' Guild. The project is simple:We're hosting a contest where each contestant would describe in detail what his ideal campaign setting book cover would look like. A panel will choose the best description, and we would like to provide the "winner" with a drawing of his book cover, as per his description. The problem is, none of us are really very good artists ;) So, I would like to "hire" an artist who would be willing to do this project in the neighborhood of once a month (or possibly, once every other month). I put hire in quotes, because we can't pay yet, but you would receive full credit, as well as a link to your site, and your art would be featured in our monthly publication, the Campaign Builders' Guide. If you're interested at all, (and if you have any other requirements that don't involved monetary contributions ;)) please PM me, or send an email to:fallen_ishmayl {at} yahoo {dot} comThanks!-Ish (Comment on this) |

_10:37 pm_[paladin119] | Hello, I am looking for a fantasy artist, possibly more than one. I am a writer and I need some characters (from a series I've been working on) drawn for me. I mostly just want these characters sketched out at the moment, though I may want to have them colored in and more extensive work and drawings done later. I don't plan on using any of these drawings in any finished works that I publish and they would mostly be used for inspirational purposes only. A lot of my characters are difficult to visualize as they have somewhat unique appearances, a lot of them are anthro/furry type characters etc. So, anyone who's had a lot of experience with and/or is talented with this particular form of drawing, is good at drawing fur, claws/fangs, elf-like features, humanoid-looking lycanthrope-like creatures, etc., would definitely be who I'm looking for. I can pay for reasonably priced official commissions of course or if you happen to be a kind soul who wants to challenge themselves and do some volunteer work for me, I'd very much appreciate that and, if you so wished, you would definitely receive full credit and referral from me in my writing for your assistance. I do have a couple sample, finished sketches of what I want drawn as well as in-depth descriptions so you won't be attempting this completely blind. One problem I would like to cover up front though, that I've experienced too many times in the past, is that when I commission some artists to work for me, sometimes they tend to either be overbooked with other commissions or simply believe they can put me off whenever they feel like it for as long as they want, which is no way to treat your customers and I will not hesitate to take my business elsewhere very quickly if I feel I'm not being taken seriously. I don't care to be wasting my finances or time on any scam Artists. So, if you respond to this, I'm going to expect that you have enough free time to take on another project, if things do work out and I like your drawings, I will be commissioning a lot more than a few drawings/sketches and I will expect the same treatment and quality that I got the first time around. I will also expect that you have regular internet and computer access as this is obviously going to be needed for us to be able to communicate efficiently. Anyway, with all that said now... if you’re interested in helping out an up and coming author and/or want to make some money...and want to find out more... please feel free to contact me. My e-mail is paladin115@yahoo.com I also have AOL, MSN and Yahoo Instant Messengers and will give out those screen names upon request. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. ^_^ Current Mood: artistic (6 Comments |Comment on this) |

_2:30 pm_[asheraa] | Quick post to say hi HI guys, Name's Maia, I concentrate mainly on dark fantasy, pagan and goth art. I don't think I suck, but I am by no means a master artist either, I just love doing what I do *grin*. I'm notoriously lazy about doing tech stuff so it'll be a few days (ok, maybe a few weeks *blush*) till I post anything, but I thought I'd drop by and say hi anyway :-) Current Mood: curious (1 Comment |Comment on this) |

_12:20 pm_[redactormajor] | Artist/s wanted Hi,I’m constructing a fan site for the cult fantasy/science fiction series ‘The Chronicles of an Age of Darkness’, by Hugh Cook (http://www.chroniclesofanageofdarkness.info).I’m looking for artists who would like to create some images for the site. Particularly character portraits/sketches, but anything really. The author Hugh Cook has endorsed my use of his world and characters to make the fan site.I’d be very open to making an arrangement to benefit the artists – obviously your work will be fully credited, but I’d also be willing to offer something like hosting a gallery of their work on my server (plenty of space!) or provide copies of the books for reference.Anyone interested can contact me at tharkhoun@hotmail.com. _9:23 am_[c_e_ahlen] | Illustrating poetry As a senior project I have chosen to do a poetry collection. The poems are almost done, there are 25 of them. Here’s what I need help with; my sister was going to illustrate the poems for me, but she will not have the time, so now I am looking for a new talented artist. The collection will to 99% certainty be published, so this is your chance to see your work in print.Since my sister bailed out on me rather late, we do not have very much time. In 3 months the latest will it need to be finished. If you think you can do it and is interested in working with me, please send me an email telling me about yourself and also enclose a work sample or a link to some of your work on the internet. I am looking for someone to catch the spirit and the feeling of the poems, and produce a picture to that, rather than a picture portraying what exactly happens in the poem, word by word.Just to give you an idea of what the poems are like, here follows the opening poem of my collection “A lonely heart ““Welcome”Welcome to my world!Yes, I’m talking to you.All of youThis world of darkness and despairWelcomes you. This is my secret hideaway.Do you want to leave? Why is that?Surely this world can’t be that bad?You created it for me.By silence, words and taunting,By mean looks, spite and sniggering. You can’t leave yet, can you?Don’t you want to see your creation? No?I am sorry, but it’s too late. The drawbridge has been pulled upYou are trapped in a fortress.A fortress made by thoughts. The walls are thick,You can not break out,Believe me, I have tried. You could try to scream for help,But it would be no good,Believe me, I have tried. How to get out?You have to follow the path,My path.It is long, hard and lonely,But it’s for your own good.Because you have to understand,So that you won’t hurt anyone elseLike you hurt me.So welcome to my world,I pray that you will understand And not make the same mistake again. My email address is c_e_ahlen@hotmail.com . _12:27 am_[mourningdove] | Hey all, A little request from someone with no artistic ability at all.I have a friend who's having a very lame Christmas. Actually, he's had many a lame Christmas. His problem with the holidays has been that he no longer recieves personalized gifts, that is, gifts that reflect who he is. If we didn't live so far away from each other, I would spring the five bucks to buy him even a book he'd enjo, but it simply isn't possible. It's bummed him out for a few years and I'd really like him to not have a lame Christmas this year. (Especially since it seems he's recieved his gifts tonight and Christmas is still a week away.) Here's where you guys come in. He's an avid writer and I think it would really make his Christmas if he had a picture of one of his characters. He prefers an anime style but I think he'd be excited to see just about any artistic interpretation of his work. The picture would not have to be elaborate, no background. I would say there might be two characters in the picture, still kicking around some ideas. I don't even need to just pick one artist for this idea. If anyones imagination is caught by this idea, please let me know through the comments. If there's enough interest I'll put up my AIM/Yahoo name. Only thing I ask is that artists sign their work.Thank you very much. :) (3 Comments |Comment on this) |

_11:06 pm_[blueyes5184] | Quick request I've been thinking about getting a tattoo lately, and have finally decided that I want wings. However, I want really detailed, anime like wings and was wondering if anyone would like to draw some for me? I would really appreciate it and what better compliment to an artist than to have their work permanently etched onto someone? Current Mood: hopeful (4 Comments |Comment on this) |
