Locals whisper that when passing by the apartment building – the faint screams of the victims can be heard echoing deep from within… hence the nickname, “Murder Heights”!

The legend of Pier 18 endures—a tale of The Sinkerman, whispered by the restless souls of his victims, those who never made it back to shore. As your haunted sites tour group nears the condemned pier, freezing currents and unseen hands of the drowned dead stir beneath the waves. They claw at the living and drag you toward the pier’s end, desperate to pull you into The Sinkerman’s tragic past and toward the shack where the harbor’s horrors began. The water shimmers with what he values most—belongings made precious by grief, a possession over the harbor and the thrill of the catch!
