Hey Bones fandom! As dedicated watchers and fandomers and ficcers, bet you've probably seen what I've seen in this fandom which is a lot of really well-written, quirky fic, because there's all sorts of wonderful characters to delve into. What I adore most about this show is that the characters are very willing to see life as it is. I adore this about Bones. And that's where 
badsexfest comes in.
Sex isn't always pretty! Sometimes your Naomi from Paleontology has to explain to you why the technical terms are not good ditry talk. Sometimes your perfectly acceptable at-work phone sex is interrupted by a dozen or so of your closest colleagues. And sometimes you think pony play is something you could try, and your partner does not agree. That's why badsexfest is here, to show the, shall we say, not so perfect side of this natural part of life.

I used to be absolutely obsessed with it--like, as obsessed or possibly even more obsessed than I am with Doctor Who right now--but I only ever dipped my toe into fic-writing. Notes: Written for tasty_kate, who suggested "...Bone's POV rationalizing how she is not attracted to Booth, but then talks her self round in a circle (maybe unconsciously using reverse psychology) and ends up at the end with the conclusion that she has no other choice other than to love Booth because of reasons X, Y, and Z." I didn't expect to love this idea as much as I did but as soon as I sat down to write it the words just came to me so...here we are!

Hi. I'm sorry to bother y'all and if this kind of post isn't allowed here, well, I'm sorry about the bother of having to take it down.
I've watched Bones off and on ever since the show first started airing (I stopped watching it after the whole thing with Zack, but started watching again a couple years afterwards and I've mostly caught up with it, except for some of this season and maybe a random episode or two last season), and, while I've only read a couple stories set in the fandom, after watching last night's episode, I have to admit I would really like to be able to read something right now that has Vincent Nigel-Murray in it, preferably in a fairly major role in the story. Basically, I'm wondering if anyone here might be able to point me in the direction of such a story (or, failing that, in the direction of a comm where it would be more appropriate to ask for helping finding such a story). Thanks!
