COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Police say a second arrest has been made in the South Carolina mall shooting that injured 15 over the weekend, and they are actively seeking the third suspect.
Columbia Police Chief Holbrook on Monday announced Marquise Love Robinson, 20, has been arrested in the Columbiana Centre mall shooting that happened Saturday.
Robinson is charged with nine counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, attempted murder and unlawful carrying of a handgun.
The first suspect, 20-year-old Jewayne M. Price, was taken into custody Sunday. He's currently on house arrest and will wear an ankle monitor.
Officials continue to search for a third suspect, Amari Sincere-Jamal Smith, 19, in connection with the shooting. He is considered armed and dangerous.
According to officials, a 15th victim was reported. They originally stated 14 people were injured in the incident.
