So my reaction to Supernatural this week ended up mostly just being "NO. NO. SAM. WHY. SAM. A PICNIC? SERIOUSLY? BUT WHY IS THE DOG CALLED RIOT??? OH MY GOD WHO IS WRITING THIS SOMEONE HIT THEM REPEATEDLY WITH A BOOK ON CHARACTERISATION."
So I think I'll just leave it at that to be honest. UGH. SPN. Why do I even watch you?
OTOH, I am throughly enjoying Arrow and you should all watch it too! GUYS. It's about a dude deciding to become a vigilante after being stranded on an island for five years. He is all feral and PTSD-y. WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE? Also, the main character has excellent slashy chemistry with his bodyguard and excellent incesty chemistry with his sister. Also he keeping doing kind of delightful workout routines while shirtless.
UGH GOD COULD THIS SHOW DELIGHT ME MORE?

I am enjoying so much that arrows are actually killing people in this. ARROWS: THEY KILL PEOPLE. I also find it mildly hilarious how much of a serial killer Oliver is? Like. Seriously. Dude. I think you need to work on being more stealthy and murdering less of the henchmen. SOME OF THOSE HENCHMEN PROBABLY HAVE FAMILIES YOU KNOW. Whatevs, it is basically great. HI I'M BACK FROM MY JAUNT ON A DESERTED ISLAND, BRB, GOING ON A KILLING SPREE. Oh show, what even is your morality? <333
I could basically watch Ollie ducking Dig's bodyguarding foreverrrr. Haha, oh Dig. You put up with so much shit. I also like how they're developing the potential for the two to relate. Five years on an island vs five years of Afganistan. "Home is a battlefield. Back home they're all trying to get you. Get you to open up. Be somebody you're not sure you are anymore." UGH UGH FEELS. PLEASE JUST HOOK UP AND HAVE EMOTIONS AT EACH OTHER? And then Dig got to see some of Ollie's mad skills! YES. YES. SEDUCE EACH OTHER WITH SEXY COMPETENCE. PERFECT.
Also, just for the record, I enjoy how angry Laurel Dinah Lance is. YOU GO BE PISSED OFF AT INJUSTICE IN THE WORLD. ALSO AT OLLIE. Although I do not ship her with Ollie and will NEVER BE PERSUADED TO. Sorry show. Mostly I just want her to canonically hook up with the women she works with. And then she and Ollie can be friends. Eventually.
P.S. PLS CONTINUE HAVING LOTS OF SCENES WHERE OLLIE AND HIS SISTER BOTH HAVE LOTS OF EMOTIONS AND THEN I SHIP THEM. THX.
