Welcome to theumbrella_acd, a livejournal community dedicated to Gerard Way's The Umbrella Academy (With artwork by Gabriel Bá). Here, you can discuss release dates, artwork, storylines, and more - and once the comic is released next year, discussion of the issues can be conducted here as well. All we ask is for you to follow the rules and be an eagerly waiting fan of The Umbrella Academy.

Rules

1. Check before posting to make sure the news, images, etc. in your entry have not been priorly posted.

2. Use an lj-cut to contain the contents of your post if said post contains images larger than around 300 pixels, or is longer than three paragraphs (you only need to put the remaining text under the cut in those cases, not the first three paragraphs as well). LJ-cuts are handy little things and ensure the members that have this community on their friendlists will not have said friendslists littered with long entries that they might not want to see. If you do not know how to create an LJ-cut, go here.

3. Before posting, look back over your entry to make sure it is readable, and coherent; is your html messed up? is the entry littered with grammatical and spelling errors? is it one huge block of text? does a sentence or two not make sense, or seem out of place? If you can answer ‘yes’ to any of those questions, go back and fix the entry before posting. The ‘preview’ and 'spellcheck' buttons are there for a reason.

4. No posts promoting other communities are permitted unless those posts are pre-approved by a mod, or are directly related to The Umbrella Academy.

7. Please be respectful to mods and other members at all times.

THIS INCLUDES DRAMA AND FIGHTING. If you do not like what another member or mod says, shitlist it and don't carry on an argument in here. If you break this rule repeatedly you will be banned without question.

8. No posts about My Chemical Romance will be accepted unless they are directly connected to The Umbrella Academy as well. This community is dedicated to Gerard Way's The Umbrella Academy, not Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Ray Toro, Bob Bryar, and Frank Iero's post-hardcore band.
