[mood** |cheerfulcheerful] [music** Victorian Ice]So, I had the pleasure of seeing BSP in DC this past weekend and it was the most amazing show I've ever seen. Although, I've found that since then, I've been having BSP withdraws! The new ep is really good, but it seems more on the "rock" side than 'open season'. I still dance and croon to it, though! Oh, how I love thee...let me count the ways!

I hesitate to say this, but... [Apr. 23rd, 2005|08:10 pm]British Sea Power
does anyone else dislike "Please Stand Up"? After living with the album for a while, I've really come to enjoy it--with the exception of "Please Stand Up." In fact, it's literally the one and only BSP song I dislike. It simply feels far too generic and by-the-numbers, which is particularly disappointing in a band of BSP's caliber.

"The tea as the blood and the stag as the body, the final denouement as a BSP communion?"The Forum gig, alarmingly summed up by someone on the, er, forum.
