And the yearly tradition continues! Here's the deal - since not everyone celebrates a Holiday in November-January that offers up presents and since I enjoy giving gifts, I thought I would do a little online celebration rather than sending out cards, etc. So here is what I am offering: 20 people (regardless of whether they celebrate a holiday in the coming months) can request a mix and I will work on them in the order I receive them. Also, if we're pen pals, feel free to request a physical mix and I'll mail it to you for a super special package (or if we talk a lot and aren't pen pals I'd also be willing to do that for you, just let me know if you are interested). 15/20 Open

A mix for surviving the summer (or year off or week or hour, etc.) with your parents as requested by Pip for Request Fest 2013.
I don't know about you, but usually the only way I get through time with my family or their friends (usually asking me annoying and rude questions about my life — and what were YOUR plans at 22?!?!) is by listening to something loud that makes me want to punch things. Ironically, it keeps me from doing so. So that's where part of this comes from where the other part is stuff that I just connect with all of the stupid shit my family and their friends say/do. May you all get by until you're free once again.

A melancholy road trip mix for Liz for my Gift Giving Celebration.
DISCLAIMER: I don't know that I'd actually drive while listening to this. It's a tad bit too depressing at times.
Basically, this mix means a whole lot to me because it all started with Johnny Flynn's "Lost & Found." As some of you may know, my radio program's name, "Lost and Found", is borrowed from the song title. When I decided what I wanted my show to be, I came back to that song, something that from the first moment of listening, I imagined driving down a deserted highway by yourself, trying to find where home is - trying to find that life that you lost or never had a handle on to begin with. So while my show might not always be super depressing, I do my show in the hope that one of those songs I play help someone figure out where they are meant to be. I apologize to Liz if this wasn't exactly what she was looking for, but do know that I put a lot of thought into it and I hope you enjoy it regardless.
