MUMBAI: In an indication that he could be available for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka in early January at home after having recovered from a finger injury, Indian captain Rohit Sharma batted in the nets at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy ground in
BKC
on Sunday.
“He batted at the nets for 15 minutes separately, and then at the nets of the Mumbai
Ranji
team, today morning.
Afterwards, he came to the Mumbai dressing room too,” said a person present at the venue.
