After Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna's PICS from 'Dhurandhar' set get LEAKED, the team amps up the security: Report

On Thursday morning, Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna's photos from the sets of 'Dhurandhar' got leaked online. One saw videos of the Ranveer which went viral all over social media and some photos along with it. Ranveer's long hair and bearded look drew major comparison with his look as Khilji from 'Padmaavat'. Meanwhile, some were also reminded of Ranbir Kapoor's look from 'Animal'. The cast and crew is shooting for an intense action sequence as these photos went viral. Meanwhile, now it looks like the team has amped up the security on the set to avoid this further.
According a report in Mid-day, an insider from the set was quoted saying, "The images were everywhere within hours. We were halfway through filming a crucial action scene, and a whole video of them blazing guns has been leaked. These looks were supposed to be revealed in a grand campaign. We even shot in other cities to avoid [a leak]. It’s disheartening.”

Do you think movie set leaks are harmful to a film's promotion?

This source further said, "We’ve implemented a minimal-phone policy for everyone. There’s a team monitoring the perimeter of the set to stop unauthorised access. Delivery guys, caterers, and even our own assistants are being screened. Since we are shooting on the streets, the production has requested support from local authorities to cordon off the area.”

Ranveer has been quite excited about this project, ever since the announcement of the film along with the cast was made. He had shared on social media, "This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it's personal."
'Dhurandhar' directed by Aditya Dhar, stars Ranveer, Akshaye along with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan.
