Actor Mukesh Khanna has strongly condemned YouTuber
Ranveer Allahabadia
for making "vulgar" remarks during an episode of
Samay Raina
’s online show, India’s Got Latent, recently. Expressing his disapproval, Mukesh released a detailed video on his YouTube channel, where he sharply criticised Ranveer’s comments and called for strict action.
Mukesh emphasised the seriousness of the issue, urging strict punishment to deter individuals from making vulgar and irresponsible statements in the future. “People need to ask, ‘Kya ho gaya hai mere desh ko?’” he stated.
The 'Shaktimaan' actor remarked, “I have watched this famous YouTuber’s interviews. He has done good work in the past, but now he has gone and spoken about parents and sex. Someone asked me what should be done. I said, ‘You should hold him and beat him. Make him sit on a donkey with his face painted black and make him tour the nation.’”

In a moment of frustration, Mukesh invoked his iconic superhero persona and quipped, “Mai agar Shaktimaan hota toh ise pakad ke antariksh mein phek deta.” (If I were Shaktimaan, I would drag him and throw him into space.)
Mukesh urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reassess the changing values of the younger generation before declaring India a young nation. He also proposed the establishment of an “Ashleel Control Board” to regulate inappropriate content.
Khanna took a dig at the justification of
vulgar remarks
in comedic settings, particularly roasting, stating that moral boundaries should not be crossed. He attributed the erosion of ethical values among youth to the removal of Moral Science from school curriculums. Urging the audience to reject inappropriate content, he warned that if the public fails to act, government intervention may become necessary. He also stressed that platforms like YouTube should not be misused to promote vulgarity for monetary gain.
The controversy stems from a viral clip of India’s Got Latent, in which Ranveer Allahabadia posed an inappropriate question to a contestant. The statement sparked widespread backlash, leading to multiple complaints, FIRs, and summonses being issued. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma have assured the public of strict action against the involved YouTubers. The video also featured YouTubers Apoorva Makhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and Jaspreet Singh, all of whom have come under scrutiny in the wake of the controversy. Yesterday Mumbai police visited Raveer's house. Amid all this, the YouTuber took a major hit as the number of his followers dropped drastically. Not only this but now celebrities are in two minds whether they should continue their podcast with Ranveer or not. Punjabi singer-music composer B Praak was supposed to do a podcast with Ranveer, but following the '
India's Got Latent
' row, he canceled his conversation with him and slammed him via a social media post.
